yea the game really isn't beginner friendly.. at least they have ingame help and tutorial now. asking for help from guild always there
2.5 hrs for lab and lvl 37 is quite quick actually. 1.5 hrs is what fast racers get, I usually do like 2 hrs playing safer / slower
is that a bundle? if It's not in a bundle I'd recommend skipping the essence tab and getting a few more premium tabs - very useful for selling stuff and organizing
what's ur build and what bandit did you pick? it's probably not a big deal, might not need to change
greengroove is good. most people use neversink but it's not the end all be all
glad you like the game !

Ah, no - it took me a lot more to get to lvl 37, it's 2 hours just for the lab itself. And i left out one of the "rooms" (points, whatever they're called) because i kinda got tired of it (didn't expect it to be that long, wanted to eat), hehe. Also i did the first two rooms twice, because i didn't realise that there's a big door in the middle (the room with the stash/boss door). I just went into the stash room, and out the other door on the other side, running like a moron through the first room wondering what i did wrong.
Uhm, build is currently a "spam sunder as fast as possible marauder". I looked through the builds to get a starting point, roughly - gonna build a wildstrike marauder, more or less. Liked the build, apart from a few nodes which i'll just change. Don't have wildstrike (nor multistrike) yet.
No, it's not a bundle really. Selling stuff, well.. That's far off. I don't even know how much stuff is worth, or more importantly, what makes an item worthless/worth a lot. That's why i wanted the lootfilter, mainly to help me understand what is a "good item", and what isn't. It's still showing a lot of grey items though, so that really didn't help as much as i thought it would.
Edit: ah, the Bandit, i "helped" Oak. Was supposed to help the dudette that has the runspeed buff etc.
Oak isn't a total failure, +physical damage is still okay, but man if i had the option, i'd immediately change. That's my one gripe, my character is slow. Clears fast with sunder and support thingies, but goes around at walking pace really. Already got three quicksilver flasks in the bar. qq
edit2: actually, berserker

Gotta use leapslam to jump everywhere instead of wasting your time walking.
|
Gotta have it first.
edit: actually, haste gem, there's apparently a vaal version of it as well (i can't say i fully understand vaal stuff yet) - which one would be better to use?
|
oak is fine. i wouldnt respec until u are richer
btw, kill all would be best choice. kraitlyn not very Good for sunder

You can buy leap slam from the vendor in Act 1 unless you're a witch/shadow.

Haste in an aura which servers a completely different purpose than a movement skill.

No, but i'm not going to stick with sunder, but change to Wildstrike/Multistrike eventually.
Kraitlyn is all around good for leveling i feel like - the 6% movementspeed buff is big by itself. Attackspeed etc on top is great. Currently i wouldn't even know if i'm rich (2 chaos orbs don't make me rich^^).

Cheers, gonna go there after this quest, anything that helps.

I thought it also increases movementspeed?
edit: another question.. do you guys identify rares before vendoring, or nah?
editx: okay leap slap makes it considerably more bearable :D

I think the expansions quite good, I think the league is complete trash.
Imo the harbingers could be a part of the expansion quite comfortably.
|
i'm pretty meh on the league, but willing to cut ggg a lot of slack because they literally doubled the size of the game. the new crafting is pretty fun. i'm kind of curious how they add harbinger into the main game though, like if they're stupid rare like breaches or more like exiles (they do seem a little rarer?) or strongboxes or ghosts.
|
generally 2 points isn't worth 6ms and 6aspd. I would only go kraityn if the cast speed or dodge is also relevant
20 regrets is like 15c (depending on ratio) so I wouldnt waste your money on switching. it won't make a significant difference, while that money could buy you an endgame weapon
vendoring unid'd rares isn't good unless you are doing the chaos recipe (have to be over Lvl 60). if you pick up a rare you should identify it - not all rares are worth picking up

I also really, really like annulment orbs, harb orbs, and horizon orbs. You have to include them as part of the expansion and I think they add a lot !!!
Grats dude. Was the money making mostly Lab or did you add anything else? Is there a build plan for the HH?

acuity is cool ! 40ex in hardcore haha.. I'd really like one for my next build
90% of money made from lab. made some money mapping but that character (LL ED) drained a lot of currency building it. while the Lab farmer was only like 60c to get going.
lab market is really saturated now tho - quality gems all tanking in price. not sure how profitable this'll be next league since so many people doing it. zizaran was trying to farm a bunch for example
going ek nova. class unclear

Theres boots later that give you +30% Movement speed and a Flask that can give you up to 70% movement speed. You overvalue the 6% from the bandits or the Haste aura by a shitton :D
But yeah most people are using "movement skills" to get from A to B faster. (leap slam, shield charge, whirling blades, lightning warp)

Yeah, might be. Put a point in the thing that removes movement penalty from heavy armor, well.. Doesn't do that much, barely noticeable. Need those boots.
Leap slam seems to have a "short" range though, doesn't really fire if you put the cursor to the edges of the screen, need to get used to that (unlike diablo 3 for example). Half the time leap slam doesn't fire if i tell it to.

Well. Once i figured out which are, i'll leave the rest

1c i assume is a chaos orb? Because on poe.trade, there's up to 10 for 1c. Or i misunderstand the entire thing, also possible.
edit: or 40 orb of regurts for $4.50 on goldselling sites
|
Leap Slam is only good for jumping up/down ledges, which can be useful in certain maps. Most of the time you'd want to use linear movement skills for speed.

edit: or 40 orb of regurts for $4.50 on goldselling sites It could be that you misinterpret poe.trade. If you search it for Orb of Regret and there's a stack of Regrets (say 21) coming up with a price of 1c, then that just means someone moved his stack of Regrets into his buyout for 1chaos stash tab, which usually does not mean he intends to sell the stack for one chaos but rather each single regret.
|
10 for 1 could also be a scam/ fake listing, but either way it's very unlikely it's a real trade
|
Ah, hm. Okay. Leaves $5 for 40. Usually i don't like gold sellers, but for some reason i feel rather indifferent towards them in PoE. Possibly because they don't impact the economy as bad as in other MMOs i played before.
Considering how long it'd take me to get them conventionally, that doesn't seem too bad.

More ELI5 though. No idea what falls under linear movement skills. Still trying to read up on vendoring recipes etc, it's kinda hard to get a "complete" grasp on the game (in a short time).

I suggested Leap Slam because it lines up with Sunder weapon usage. I agree that a more optimal movement skill could be used, but not sure what weapon he is using to know what is actually available.
