I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here. In any case, if you have 1000 Evasion and a 24% increased armor and evasion node allocated that will net you 1240 armor with Iron reflexes. See the wiki. In the same way nodes like "+ x% to fire and lightning damage" don't apply twice if you convert fire to lightning damage. But generally speaking Evasion gear has higher values than armor gear. So if you do convert and don't have many % armor nodes, evasion gear is probably more useful (of course you have to keep necessary socket colors in mind too). | ||

I was under the impression that it used to truly double-dip, but was changed to apply to the base twice, instead of double-dipping. | ||

to be fair I did do most of 39 challenges on this guy, including 40 guardians (a lot of Phoenix), 8 mod maps , 1337 map bosses, so I did do a lot of normal mapping as well | ||

wasn't trying to die, but was playing on EU while lag spiking, without preparation baited by gunde for the challenge ! not really though. It's funny how if you don't play seriously how easy it is to die :D | ||

I know it's not much but it felt good. Gladiator is so tanky and heavy strike Chunks bosses. Now I just need something to remove knockback and I can use Multistrike too. Almost like the D2 zealot I set out to be. | ||

They have like 700 armour on them too. I really want to use them in a build sometime but the problem is realistically you'd rather 1shot things than pull them around with you and against bosses reverse knockback isn't that valuable ususally | ||

I'm really enjoying POE HC, shit is scary as hell when you haven't played through the content before. I have to say though, it feels like witch has an advantage over ranger in HC because energy shield seems more useful to me than evasion in boss fights which are usually the most dangerous part of the game plus I seem to DPS more with shittier gear. Am I way off in thinking that? | ||

It would pull them in and keep them locked in before they died. Only a few bosses with jumping abilities and such were resistant to it. | ||
