I tried one last night, and I must say the beyond map mod is ridiculously good, I wonder how nice mapping must have been. Free loot pinatas every pack, capable of dropping map upgrades. SOOOOO GOOD.
It was nice once your dps got high enough. Iirc, I reached 79 with my arc witch before I ripped and the first half of mapping has been a pain in the ass before my dmg ramped up.

What made the Beyond bosses hard was fighting them with map affixes like damage or vulnerability. They're pretty trivial otherwise. Just make sure you aren't biting off more than you can chew.
It made rolling maps a pain in the ass because half the mods were unplayable.

I'm rolling max ez mods atm. Blue maps only. no monster damage/ele reflect/curses basically. although after getting up to a 73 once, my map pool has receded to 69 and lower zana save me pls
PS: CoC discharge is a blast but 3.5k hp with a 20% block shield and cwdt-immortal call as my phys damage mitigation, cycloning into packs is hella sketchy.
I badly need a lightning atziri belt but that shit aint cheap yet and I can't run that bitch yet (my single target doesn't exist).

new question for you guys
how is the spin speed for cyclone calculated when you are dual wielding? I understand you hit once per weapon per spin.. but what determines how fast that happens?
Also another question. The innate mod on claws. +15 life per enemy hit. If I dual wield claws do I get 30 life per hit or 15, if I am only hitting with 1 claw at a time?

Just died with my LS char. God that got boring at the end, was soooo slow.
So now I want to play the most cookie cutter build there is ATM and maybe for once make it to maps. What should I do guys?

i've read a lot about HoT, CoH
does herald of thunder have to proc the lightning storm in order to apply curses? or is it just literally applied to everything you attack?

I'd assume it's for the lazy people (and for people who want potentiallyy stronger curses through curse on hit) and only curses whatever herald of thunder hits. I haven't tried it yet but I don't see a reason why it should curse more.

Also Flameblast is easy as hell and will get you to maps easily. But Arc is more fun and just as easy/efficient. Chose your poison!

arc is too shitty for levelling. tendrils way better for lightning spells.

There are enough free respec points that it'd be pointless, but you could probably level flameblast while taking lightning nodes and it'd be faster.

Playing a static strike 2H templar with triple Heralds and celestial judgment/punishment. My god the damage is insane.
I'm on act 3 cruel on torment, but I haven;t died a single time. It helps that everything dies before it touches me.
