There's a chance the build doesn't suck. Keep in mind it gets to spend the vast majority of the time doing safe things and is completely reflect immune. Plus it actually should have a huge ES pool. It should work fine. Concept is almost identical to the short fotw Chin Sol HOA build last league and nothing changed since then so I don't see why not. You should definitely use HOA and put Proliferation on that too because it probably has the highest source of burn in packs. Also brave decision to go CI since traps cost a hell lot of mana, hence some mana nodes also required , while you want to run Discipline (mandatory), HOA (mandatory), Clarity (close to mandatory), and Hatred (preferably). I'm on phone atm so can't look at the tree yet but point blank at bottom right, holy fire at top left and CI at top right, while es & bow dmg nodes are everywhere in between, might be a bit stretch. Yeah urg on second thought, concept is a bit ambitious :|

I don't need avatar of fire cuz blackgleam + BA inherent conversion is 100% (since I don't need crit or life on my quiver, although i do lose hatred conversion etc) also so that I can proc EE. I'm actually 2 points away from it If i wanted it but I dont need.
Also I don't actually need many "bow" nodes because of the 100% conversion any fire, ele, trap, projectile, or bow/phys nodes work. So I can be pretty choosy about which dmg nodes I want. (ps trap dmg nodes fucking suck ass holy shit). Fire/Ele nodes double-dip on burning damage so I prioritize them.
The build probably doesn't have to be CI and the transition would be pretty late anyway (was thinking around level 70 ROFL) but I'm pretty sure it's worth being CI cuz the mana isn't intensive and you actually get every good ES node on the tree except for a few witch ones. Plus you path through the scion ES circle anyway.
I think some people are bored of this discussion though so I'll stop.

Those mana cost differences. My 5l Totem costs me 189 mana atm. Kinda reminds me of my lvl 35+ corpse explosion necro back in D2. Insight+Energy skilled (lol) and I still felt like I could use mana pots in some situations. xD

My EA character I played in Anarchy spent 800 life/sec, but had 1200 hp regen. lol

My 5L Shockwave Totem is costing me 209 mana per cast, with 500 mana unreserved, and very little mana regen, its actually really annoying, i can barely cast 2 totems inna row. If they die, and im forced to summon them quickly in succession, im pretty much out of mana constantly. Otherwise the build is awesome lol, sitting @ 9000 tooltip, 25% crit. With charges up more crit, more dps, its good times. Too bad im SQUISHY AS FUCK and still at least 1 ex from getting a cloak. Even then i still have to 6 socket/5L the thing myself, fucking CoD so godamn expensive, and is required for so many builds, really grinds my gears.

I don't think CoD is required for Dual Shockwave Totem. Really, it has no requirements at all. Also, nice @vara, lol.

cloak for casters is too good, better to use it then waste points reaching mom or taking armour nodes. you have to take mana regen nodes for your main spell anyway. MoM ensures that 30% of ANY hit is drained from your mana first instead of life, instead of armour which only mitigates physical and doesnt do anything for big hits unless you have something absurd like 20-30k armour.
more impt in HC now that block is nerfed

You don't have to tell me that CoD is insanely good, even after the nerf. I just said that it isn't necessary for a totem build. Necessary as in the build doesn't work well without it.

haha, yeah. I'm glad I wasn't interested in maps back then. I can imagine it was hell for most people (who did). It's no surprise with your gems, really. Only running 66-69 maps beyond lvl 80 advances your level so slowly.
On another note: Having "contains a unique item" on a carto box doesn't mean you get a unique map out of it. Found my first carto box on a map ever and it had a pretty nice initial roll (unique was one of them) so I kept that. Dropped me an Al Dhih. Nice troll.
