Because then you don't have to worry about keeping up your frenzy charges, and also frenzy scales off of the frenzy charges.

Yeah Frenzy Charges are amazing in beta... Bloodrage is kinda free as Mara/Duelist too especially if you consider how much leech it adds. Getting decent chaos res was a hazzle which never let me wanna use it (except free with CI chars).

It shouldn't since that is essentially what a bleed is which isn't affected by armor.

As far as I know the only thing that mitigates the blood rage physical degen is endurance charges. You can also just run The Blood Dance, but I suspect they're going to get a tweak so that frenzy charges only give 2-3% more damage with them instead of 4% similarly to how they impact cast and attack speed.

its a general "4% more damage" so it includes RF (like how +%increased damage from doon also boost rf)

beta seems harder than the normal game
died in a4, voll cruel is just really tough playing melee its kind of hard to target voll and kill the guys he summons too but if i dont kill them they do a lot of damage..

Well yea he is definatly tough. When he summons imo its a free dps-window for you. Depending on you skill you use you can even facetank him for a bit while ur AoE kills the summons (static strike, groundslam etc.) If necessary unsocket multistrike so you can react faster. Leap Slam + Faster Atks = very good for him! A Golem also helps tons to get aggro'd by his charge or slam. He sucks hard tho if you are two-handed and have low atk speed.

I really like the new change to blood rage, that it is now physical damage, Now in my build I can both have frenzy and endurance charges, without any big sacrifiace.
My build for 2.0 HC. Marauder, high armour, high life / regen, 1h ice crash/static strike. Not going for Really high damage, but still able to do high lvl maps safely.

Yeah I'm like the only one logging into beta in the past week or so. Trading in beta really sucks so there's no sense of character progression atm for me. What's the point of having currency when there's nothing to buy. Wipe is imminent anyway . Several new/improved builds were pretty fun though, that I can't complain .

Yup, I tried lots of things I haven't done before too. I hope there's a wipe on tuesday.
My most solid build was probably 1h Sword + Shield crit Cyclone with Bloodmagic keystone and no auras. The nodes behind Bloodmagic give mad Life in the beta and being able to spam whirling blades with faster attacks and fortify linked without worrying about mana is quite awesome. My DPS wasn't over the top, but like 15k DPS buffed which is easily enough. Sadly map drops are not better yet so I only played one 79 shipyard, a couple of 77 and 76 maps, but other than that almost only lvl 73-75 maps (in a way that's way better than before, but IF you remove 2 map levels, then nope).
Most fun was leveling in Dried Lake with Vaal Cyclone (+inc aoe, faster attacks and melee phys) in Merciless, shit was awesome. About 130k xp/h until lvl 76 because if you Vaal Cyclone at the right spot you suck so many monsters that you can almost do another one right away.

Trading is such a nightmare in the beta, that's what killed it for me. The "it's a beta just give stuff away to help everyone" mentality is all well and good until you need a 5L or map level weapon or whatever to progress further

All life leech items will be nerfed. I will first try dual wand KB with HoI,HoT,(hatred/anger/wrath) and VP + CB. Second character will be CoC dual wand.
