I always do another play through if I want to do a DLC for it. I also just replayed Borderlands 1 for the heck of it a couple months ago and had a blast, even though I already knew the plot.

uhhh if you haven't noticed when you reload tediore guns it takes the rest of the clip, its probably so you can't abuse shoot one bullet-throw out free exploding gun.

Did anyone else notice that side quest areas scale to your level? It seems like it's not FULL scaling (taking on a lvl 5 in a lvl 5 area is still tougher than taking on that mob lvled to 30 at 30), but scaling nonetheless. Loot scales too.

Yeah, I loved my Tediore. That thing was OP as hell. I picked it up an SMG at level 12, and kept it through something like level 17. Only downside was that it positively devoured ammunition.

got a shield that gives a blast nova when shield deplates AND when hp depletes, and a grenade mod which does a vacuum before exploding, so good for being a rambo

In case anyone hasn't tried it out, the shock grenade that does damage over time is completely ridiculously good, all the other elements do friendly fire but it doesn't. You can just lob two of them into anything and it will basically kill any kind of badass in one shot. The DOT grenades do like 20x the damage of the normal ones. You can also just throw out a bunch randomly and it will clear every single low health enemy if you are getting overrun with melee stuff.
Doing the arena thing and you can clear out like 4 badasses and it stuns them for most of the duration with 2 or 3 nades, totally op good, especially if you can get homing ones or other good mods.

Was not into Borderlands 1 and the LPs I saw so far were not that exciting. Still undicided if its worth giving it a try.

What turned you off BL1? The answer to that question determines whether or not BL2 is worth it.

I have a incindinary grenade that blows up, shoots out homing mini grenades that burn shit and transfuse. Utterly ridiculous l0l

The difference between a singleplayer run and a 4 man multiplayer run is staggering. Everything hits so much harder, it's a little frightening.

does this game have like a matchmaking system grouping you up with players of your level in multiplayer or is it friends only?

uhhh....... My tediore rocket launcher doesn't do that. If it's 2/5 and I reload, it comes up 3/4.

Probably only because the devs realised ammo is so scarce for it.

Torgue weapons (and I think explosive in general) deal SPLASH damage. If you try this with an explosive rifle, you'll see. They way it works with shotguns is the initial damage is applied per pellet and then the explosive splash damage is the elemental followup.

Play with three or more people. I'm cooping with a friend and we're got three purple drops in chests so far (just finished the dam rescue).
