Atm its only letting me load back to where I was originally which is fairly low level =(. Once you get to the missions, which you've already completed, you can skip them. You're not far enough in the story yet. It'll give you an option to choose whether or not to replay them once you arrive at a mission that was previously turned in.

Would that work? (although I'll probably never play anything other than Axton, the guy's a beast and looks perfect with grizzled veteran head)

Skills like Killing Bl0w and Grim aren't as useful if you're chaining melees together. So I guess the question is, how do you want to play him? Also melee isn't as viable in playthrough 2.

If anyone wants to try this sucker out, pm me cause I got a lvl 48 one to spare. I also have an Unkempt Harold (Torgue lvl 50 legendary pistol, shoots explosives that spread on a horizontal plane) and a couple Volcano sniper rifles (Maliwan lvl 50 legendary incendiary sniper rifle) if anyone wants to trade.

It makes all other shields redundant and due to its imbaness, basically forces you to play in such a way just to accommodate it i.e. stay at long range and don't get hit. Best way to fix it imo is to reduce the amp damage and make the amp drain, BUT allow for amp to keep activating before recharge. So you'd shoot for amp damage until the shield runs out. Throw in The Conference Call and its nights out everything too bad after farming close to 200 runs the damn boss still hasn't dropped it yet -.-.

when I boss farm with shotgun I will take 4 in one shot one kill and only put 1 point into killer for it to be more efficient. edit- I run with a vladaf sniper and a maliwan smg with this build as they seem to do best with the two fang proc. edit2- omg as I was typing this out I came across a king bullymong and look what it dropped

Two questions for it; how important is Precision for the build? I don't really get how the accuracy stat works, and I kind of want to just leave the points in one shot one kill. 2nd; do shotguns work well with two fang? I feel like getting a double burst from a shotgun would be huge huge damage.

However I didn't do many of the side quests in the 1st playthrough. Is there a way for me to go back and do the sidequests or am I just gonna have to do it on my 2nd playthrough. Yes you can go back to the first playthrough. On the title menu, go to select character and pick your character(even if he's currently selected). It will then ask you which mode you want to play, true vault hunter, normal, or cancel, so just click normal and then continue game will load you into the first playthrough. This can be useful for some of the challenges too, I went back to low level areas to do Game of Thorns challenge for example(spike shield kills, everything did like two damage to my shield and got one shotted).

Precision is great for SMG's. It reduces the spread by quite a lot (your crosshair gets smaller too) and allow you to place shots more accurately for criticals.

Other factors included, BL2 feels like a bit of a step backwards from the first so far

I actually had the same questions as you echelontree so I sat next to a respec station and tested the crosshair with and without the 4 points in precision. From my testing I noticed that the crosshair expands less but most noticeably when you are moving; the crosshair begins to tighten up around 50% faster so its really up to you, for boss farming id say the one shot one kill would be better if you have a jakobs shotgun because of the low clip size, fast reload, and having the highest damage among the manufacturers; but for general purposes I'd say precision is better. edit- and to answer your questions echelontree accuracy and stability stats don't matter at all for the weapon, what makes the difference is the manufacturer. The reason why I use vladaf snipers and maliwan smgs is because consecutive shots land almost on top of the first impact point so when two fangs proc at 60% chance it almost guarantees a double shot where im aiming. Also two fangs work with shotguns and it works really well, I'm currently running with a jakobs for boss farming because it downs them insanely fast with my build.
