It's kinda funny that a lot of her skill names are My Little Pony references (Fancy Mathematics, Buck Up, Potent as a Pony, 20% Cooler, Discord, Sharing is Caring, Evil Enchantress, Make it Sparkle)

Alot of passives. Is that this casual-class for "girlfriends"?!

This is a classic example of "streamlining" to such an excessive degree that the now anemic control framework they've built buckles under the load of reality and creates an experience that is actually HARDER to interact with, not easier.

"Also, lasers." "+100% more Multi-Kill." (and I'd take this skill no matter what just to feel some UT nostalgia) I don't really like her Ordered Chaos tree at all.

The Ordered Chaos tree has so much dmg potential tho, if u combine it with some perks from the helper tree u will prob get the most destructive character so far.

It's a first person shooter. The skill of playing comes not from chaining the right order of spells, but how good your shooting is. By relying on passive abilities and action skills, the skill of playing comes from the players own skill more than it does from stats/levels/build. In a standard rpg you get better and stronger weapons to equip, but how good you char is with that weapon is determined more by how many levels you've grinded out. In Borderlands 2, you still upgrade your equipment and the guns have some variances in their stats(and some can last for many many levels if they are atma weapon tier), but any character can pick up a gun they find at the time, and while the abilities give small bonuses to help you out, it's ultimately how well you as a player can use the gun that determines its effectiveness. So I guess you haven't looked at the Mechromancer skill tree which directly contradicts what you just said. Gearbox has implemented several additional "skills" in the Mechromancer tree that require manual activation. These skills must be activated through convoluted means thanks to their "streamlining" of the game's control scheme.

I've recently started and am only level 9...I feel like I'm not playing the game in an organized fashion at all and I feel the location instructions for each mission are vague or non-descriptive about WHERE I'm supposed to go. I see no waypoints and if Claptrap isnt around to guide, I dont know what resource to use for direction. I KNOW there is a map, but it shows ammo, vehicles, health and travel stations..but it doesnt say "GO HERE FOR YOUR CURRENT OBJECTIVE" so I run around and kill the same badguys ive been killing. I beat Flyn, got on boat to go to Sanctuary, now I'm driving my sweet whip around murdering monsters like a bau55 but dont know where my objective is... gooby plis Hit j, select mission, follow waypoint, ????, profit.

Gearbox has implemented several additional "skills" in the Mechromancer tree that require manual activation. These skills must be activated through convoluted means thanks to their "streamlining" of the game's control scheme. I have looked at the Mechromancer trees. Most of these act the same as the passive skills or override skills of the other trees, and I don't think they have strange activation methods. For instance, Zer0 has skills like Rising Sh0t and Critical Ascenci0n which give a stacks upon doing an attack or critical hit with a sniper respectively that give a bonus to damage; this functions much like anarchy stacks do. Jumping in air move activation I can equate to other current skills as well, like Zer0's extra damage while moving skill(I think it's called Like the Wind). The melee claws is pretty much just a melee override skill that acts like Zer0's resurgence. Even the Gunzerker has a move activated by reloading that gives additional fire rate. She actually doesn't have many "additional" skills. There only ones you could make a case for are Discord, Shock and AGGGGH, Death From Above, and Anarchy, but they really aren't much different in functionality than many current skills(Locked and Loaded, Corrosive Cloud, Like the Wind, and Critical Ascenci0n respectively as examples).

They actually listened to the community unlike another company whose name I shall not say... Really? I didn't care at all for Roland or Brick and Mordecai was also a bit meh. The new characters feel much better and a lot better balanced as well.
