I wouldn't say it's worthless. It actually has massively increased critical damage if you can manage to crit with it, more than regular snipers, that's why it has no scope, you really need to test weapons before you call them worthless, the hidden attributes aren't always readily apparent. And the flavor text is cool too+ Show Spoiler +Bison Bison had had had had had Bison Bison Bison shi shi shi , if you know where it comes from.

In that case you can wait until you get to playthrough 2.5(beat story missions) before accepting the quest and you can get a lvl 50 version of the buffalo. And if it gives you one you don't like forcequit and turn the quest in again until it does.

Except that lee enfield had perma 10xcrit pre nerf :D Really enjoying the game otherwise, just finished the first playthrough, loving the story and characters, and some of the graphics are astounding to me (I find snow and sand textures in particular to be some of the nicest I've ever seen in a game).

Haha! When I started to play DayZ there was a bug that made zombies not hear guns or something, but i did not find out until later so the enfield was OP as hell.

It was a one shot kill to any player hit anywhere too, that was the bst thing about it till they nerfed it to hell.
Anyway I'd really like for BL2 to add in more variety of guns, I mean theres a decent amount now, but I feel like although they may be slightly different, fundamentally a lot of guns feel the sane and they are just a good/bad version of it. There's a lot of unique ones with flavour text but I only ever seem to get them off missions. BL1 looting was a bit more fun I think.

I'm ok with the guns, wouldn't say no to some more though What i really like is climbing around sanctuary etc. They should expand on that! And i found some funny things like how you can get under the city or I found the box you spawn in when loading maps on one of them.
|
Guns look more varied, but I seem to find way less machine pistols than in the first game, always liked those cold rage. Have got a nice purple one now, but they just seem much rarer, most pistols are repeaters. The jumping kinda pisses me off at times because the collision detection is such that it often doesn't let you jump up onto something when pressed against something. How do you get under the city?
|
There's something stupid with Anarchy sometimes lol I'm lvl 23, with a good 167x16 shotgun. I hit at 16k with 250 anarchy stacks, and that's not even close to the max you can get. I mean.. 16k damage per shot at lvl 20 ish is pretty stupid xD

You can duck jump in this game, but it is tricky because you slow down very fast when you duck, so you gotta duck as late as possible. As for getting under the city I'll spoiler it cause you can only do that a bit into the game.
+ Show Spoiler +When Sanctuary is in the air you, near claptraps shack you go down to the edge of the city, there are like 3 steps down. on the lowest level in the left side you can crouch between the rock and some square block. Somehow there is no collison detection. But be careful there is only a very narrow path you can take without falling down.

I know there is crouch jump, what I meant was if you are pushed up against something and try to hold forward(or whichever direction the object is) and jump, you collide with it and get forced back down before even getting halfway up through your jump. You collide with the top of the object or something like that and don't do a full jump. If the object does that then you have to not hold forward and only press it after reaching a certain height, or back up and do a running/sprinting jump. It's just annoying and shouldn't be happening, there's just some weird collision detection going on.
Thanks for the tip to get down there. Went back in that area before but never saw that path.

after doing playtrough one in soloplay for the story id like to go online for pt2. how bad is the hacking online in this game right now? is it few and far between, or 1.10 diablo 2 like, or smth?

This is not Diablo - who cares about hacking. Its just for fun, no ladder, no competition! You can get endless amount of Golden Keys, but it doesn't matter at all.

You should check the CE forums rofl. Super jump, super speed (if the host does this all the players are affected ITS REALLY REALLY FUCKING FUN), slot machine hack (always give gold shit) Infinite bullets (no reload), but the best of all, resurrecting Terra and infinite Vermi spawn.
Sucks we dont have a drop rate hack :/
But the really OP ones are the stat hacks - met a player with over 1k% in everything...yeah

Whats your guys opinions on Blood soaked shield vs more anarchy stacks?
|
Tried getting the vault symbol above terra for like 2 hours the conventional way last night with a friend. Didn't even come close to getting launched far enough up or even in the right direction T_T

I don't care if people ruin their gameplay with hacks when I don't have to play with them...
