I like that guy. He was our quarterback in Madison and his classiness makes you a fan for life. I only hope for the best for him, he's the kind of guy who deserves it.

We loved him in Madison for so many more reasons than just his skill on the field. He's a pretty easy guy to root for. Also, holy balls this Packers/Vikings game is so intense. I grew up in MN as a GB fan so I have so many friends talking smack right now. BluePanther is 100% right about the intensity/scope of this rivalry.

You like that guy? Half the population of Seattle would surrender their virtue to his glorious pen0r without hesitation.

Well, you have to remember he came here as somewhat of a mercenary and was only here for one year.

I live in Madison now, so I do know "FIB" and am surrounded by Wisconsin and GB fans. Vikings fans are incredibly disrespectful when they come to Green Bay. It's not like this vitriol was spawned out of nowhere. The Bears are our traditional rivals, but our disdain for Vikings fans comes from their behavior in our hometown. Even Bears fans are more respectable despite their annoying habits and self-importance. Somehow I feel I will be unable to change your mind, but judging an entire category of people based on the actions of a few, especially when you are only looking at the behavior of a few people in an emotionally charged atmosphere in which everyone is drinking heavily, is pretty foolish. For every Bear fan who fits your stereotypes I bet I can find at least one who doesn't. As with any prejudice against a group of people based on stereotypes, it's going to be wrong most of the time, but people will be heavily influenced by their confirmation bias and the prejudiced beliefs will persist.
The case of football fan prejudice seems particularly silly to me.

Hang out at the stadium bars in GB the next time the Vikes come visit. You'll understand then. Other fans are respectful and enjoy our drunken revelry, Vikings fans are obnoxious with the sole intent of agitating. Every time I hear that f'ing horn blow outside Lambeau I want to steal it away and smash it down that fans throat.
Sure, it's a small subgroup of Vikings fans. But they are also the biggest Vikings fans and I know seeing the Vikings lose crushes their souls. And I've yet to meet a Vikings fan I like (bias or not).

Haha damn it so close for AP.

9 yards shy of the record.

Thank you, Minnesota.
Love,
Every Niners fan.

That game was a classic. If AP breaks the record it would've been immortalized. Still, can't wait for the rematch next week at Lambeau.

ROFL that postgame interview.
"9 yards short. WOW. That's gotta hurt." *shoves microphone in front of his face*

"9 yards what?"
gotta love AD man

How fun, first round, Vikings at Packers rematch now.

Yes I'm so happy at that result. My mom came home just in time to watch the field goal.
Amazing game held me hard from halftime on.

As a Packers fan, that game still leaves me fairly optimistic. Vikings had everything more or less go their way, Pack was still more than a match for them. Next week at Lambeau is ours

Only because being a Viking fan is that insufferable.
I never said we were "more respectable". I just explained why I hate Vikings fans. I'll be the first to admit I won't hold the door open for some schmuck wearing a Favre Viking jersey. I'm not pretending to take the high road in this one, so don't misrepresent me as being hypocritical.
