I actually thought Florida St. was for real this year. But then they choked and couldn't score on NC.State. SMH Lsu i saw a loss coming. Might even lose 3 games by the end of the season. Georgia is probably going to end up beating Florida and Florida might end up beating S.Carolina and Florida.
Notre Dame deserve some big time recognition. They are for real this year folks.
ND is a decent but not great team around #20 at the end of the season at best, they have no offense(They scored 13 on Michigan despite generating 6 turnovers!!!). And no Navy and Miami don't count as offense. Miami is over 100 nationally in points against. You must listen to too much Lou Holtz.
And while the SEC is overrated, Bama most definitely is not. The best football in the country is not not played in the PAC12, the top 3-4 teams in the SEC for the last 5 years have been really really good. ESPN acts as if the whole conference is loaded and would walk over everyone in the B1G, PAC12, and the B12. That is what I see as the overrated part of the SEC, but the top group has been the best in the country, the 6 straight national titles is a testament to that, Oregon is good and USC is good, outside of that there isn't anyone in the PAC12 that would be within 28 of Bama. Anyhow I would love to hear what makes you think the PAC12 is better than the SEC, cause other than beating on the B10 I can't think of anything that notable.
I think Alabama is just on another level as far as the talent level on their team. They may lose, but they are by far the most athletically talented team, right with where Pete Carroll had USC in the early 2000s.
Also I don't think there is a team that does less with as much talent as FSU does, except maybe ND.

Espn tonight (forgot the two analyst name) even said that if Oregon and bama was to play next week Oregon would win. I don't care if the SEC won the last 6 National titles. If USC wasn't( sanctioned and punished they would of put a dent in that streak for sure. Remember in 2001 when #3 Bama was soooo good and everyone was starting to ride the SEC wave they came out Cali and played a no name unranked UCLA (who couldn't beat anyone in their conference) and lost? And guess what? ever since that lost Bama haven't even tried to schedule a PAC-12 game out west. Bama hasn't really been tested this year. Their schedule is ridiculously easy. Oh don't even mention Michigan. I wouldn't be surprise to see them losing a game or 2 by the end of the season. Bama is not that good. I can honestly say if they have to travel to W.virginia they would lose there. And if they come out to USC or Oregon or Stanford or even Oregon St they would lose. I wouldn't be surprise to see a NCG this year without a team from the Sec this year. They have a whole bunch of over rated and over hype teams this year.
Side note : Home field advantage does make a hell of a difference. And FYI since 2000 SEC vs Pac-12 the score is Pac-12 12-11 over SEC. If you take away the "mutual field" where they literally play in SEC backyard the score would be pac-12 12-8. Next time LSU or Bama wanna play Oregon on a mutual field they should play in Seattle instead of Texas. Let's see how that works out for them.
And yet again, Daimiani never misses an opportunity to take a swipe at SEC. I saw it coming haha. But seriously, your bias against SEC is hilarious. You say Florida State is real, ND is real, Oregon, Stanford, and Southern Cal are world beaters, but Alabama is not that good and would lose to even Oregon State. Delusional...I can tell you're all impressed by the numbers that WV and Oregon is putting up. Well you can ask 2006 Ohio State, 2008 Oklahoma, 2010 Oregon teams how playing against SEC defense went.
Honestly, we’ve played a lot better teams than them, I could name four or five teams in the SEC that could probably compete with them and play the same type of game we did against them. -Jarvis Moss after Florida beat undefeated Ohio State 41-14 in NC
Washington, who beat Stanford who beat Southern Cal, got smacked by LSU, who by the way can't score for shit, 41-3. Yeah. really tough conference Pac-12. REAL TOUGH And please...Oregon? Oregon? After what happened when they played Auburn, after what happened when they played LSU, you keep riding the Oregon horse? lol ok. Oregon reminds me of Oklahoma few years back. Running up scores to pad the stats and can't win the games that matter. But nonetheless, they may go undefeated in PAC-12 and find themselves in NC again, which is fine for me, but I fear for the safety of their RBs against Alabama. I think Brady Hoke made the right choice to just tank a loss and not make DRob run and get taken out in their opening game.
My Longhorns put up a fight but we couldn't stop the run or Geno Smith. These past few games, I'm starting to feel that Manny Diaz was overrated as a DCoordinator.
Other than that, this was the greatest football game I've ever been to. Crowd went wild in the 4th when we got that fumble, but wasted it. One missed fg decided the game. Hopefully Texas stays in the top 20.

If they drop out of the top 20 for losing to a team that will more than likely be ranked in the top 5 (possibly at 4) then I don't even know what to say about the polls.
They drop to 17-18 max.
We'll see very soon though, polls should be out shortly.

HAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!
Seriously.....i don't know what team you are watching in the SEC, but it clearly isn't Bama, UF, UGA, South Carolina, or LSU. Any of those teams could beat anyone in the PAC 10. Alabama is far and away the best team in the country, and i don't think it's even close. barring some catastrophic injuries, or just a really terrible game, Bama will roll through the season undefeated and deliver a massive stomping on some unfortunate ND/Oregon/etc team. Just Bama's offensive line alone will guarantee any team they play against will have a massive(pun intended) disadvantage. SEC overrated? Does 6 National Championships in a row mean absolutely nothing? Clearly a fluke......Ask OSU, Oklahoma, Texas, etc what they think of SEC teams with seemingly anemic offenses and big fast defenses.
Am i really being bias or am i speaking the truth? I'm very open minded. I'm a huge football fan. I only attack when being attacked. Let me give u guys a chart : Team A schedule so far after 5 weeks : vs Navy W 50-10 vs Purdue W 20-17 @ #10 Michigan St W 20-3 @ #18 Michigan W 13-6 vs Miami W 41-3 Team A is ranked 2nd in pts allowed 7.8 avg. And is ranked #7 in the ap poll.
Team B schedule so far after 5 weeks: @ Vanderbilts W 17-13 vs East Carolina W 48-10 vs UAB W 49-6 vs Missouri W 31-10 @ Kentucky W 38-17 vs #5 Georgia W 35-7 Team B is ranked 4th in pts allowed 10.5. And is ranked 3rd in the ap poll.
Now if you ask any non bias college football fan who's body of work looks better and if the ranking is fair let's see what their answer would be. You be the judge and tell me if there's any bias towards SEC.

Currently, Michigan is ranked #25 and Michigan State is unranked. Rankings "at the time" aren't what matters, especially early in the season when so many teams are over- or under-rated to start off the year. (of course by the same standard, Georgia is only #14)
To me, only Alabama and Oregon have been so overwhelmingly impressive that they've earned tip-top rankings.
The computers, though they're not perfect, can't be biased and 3 of the 5 which are out have Team B over Team A.
I don't understand the BCS system sometimes. I'll use the WVU vs Texas game as an example. If you take the spirit of the BCS as "here's where we think the teams are ranked and we adjust it as the results come in" then I don't think the game warranted any change in opinions. You had the #8 ranked team playing the #11 ranked team and the #8 ranked team won by 3 points. That sounds about right to me. I don't think we learned anything new from those teams that we didn't already know. We knew that WVU had a great offense and no defense and Texas had a good offense and an ok defense. But it seems like after important games the voters feel compelled to reward the winning team and punish the losing team.
I also don't quite get how a system can work when it's based from the outset off of unfounded opinion. But there you go.
There is not much surprising about Mack Brown getting reamed by another ranked opponent. Pre Vince Young, this was his specialty.
And West Virginia losing isn't shocking either, they have the worst defense ever for a "contender" ... But losing by 5 touchdowns to an unranked opponent? Hilarious.
