Also, Notre Dame is about to get their asses handed to them vs OU in Norman this weekend. I would like to hear your arguments now. Let me guess...Oklahoma wasn't good just like the other 3 ranked teams they beat this season blah blah...

Someone should have grabbed that young man and put him on the bench so they could just drive it home.

Their next few games are against not-so good teams, and with USC losing (and not really look great in most games), a hypothetical win over them is become less valuable. Their next best win I suppose is vs Stanford. But look for Stanford to get killed by Oregon soon. So that loses value... So yeah, if Oklahoma beats K-State in the Big 12 championship game, it bodes very well for The Irish. That or they need everybody else to lose above them. Sorry, bro. No Big 12 championship this year.

There will be no Big 12 championship in the near future. The big 12 lost Nebraska (to Big Ten), Colorado (to Pac 12), Texas A&M (to SEC) and Missouri (to SEC). They gained West Virginia and TCU.

Did you know that before this season, Penn State hadn't won a game since 1997? Also can't blame Oregon State for being down to Washington. That's just the nature of the Pac-12, the toughest conference in the country. Anyone can beat anyone on any given week in that slugfest of a conference.

I believe it started off years ago with the ACC "poaching" Virginia Tech, Miami, and then Boston College. Needless to say the acquisition hasn't done much for the conference's reputation in the long run. The Big East is now composed of former independents and CUSA teams... featuring Pittsburgh (and Syracuse). The SEC needlessly acquired two more teams, making for 14 teams but still only 8 conference games. The Texas-aTm rivalry is suddenly history, they don't even play this season. West Virgina moving "up" to the Big 12 seems geographically suspicious. The Pac-10 getting Colorado and Utah hasn't helped much at all, they're perennial bottom feeders in the conference. I think the conference passed a good opportunity to move up Boise State and/or BYU, but that's hindsight for you. I suppose a damaged-beyond-repair Colorado program was the most logical idea, right? I feel like an old man. "Things were better back in the day..."

The SEC coaches in the summer seemed to agree to moving to 9 conference games in the future. And Notre Dame to the ACC doesn't seem geographically right either. Also I think Boise didn't get invited to the Big 12/Pac-12 because they don't meet the academic standards of the conferences or something.

Hey, we can't all have powerhouses like Kentucky, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Auburn, and Tennessee to test our strength.

Yeah ND is really bad. I guess OU was just overrated like every other team ND played...
