The proof? He has had a top-10 most talented team in the country for years and is 0-8 in games where USC was trailing at half. That is a .000 winning percentage! Guy can't coach. He is objectively bad and cheats.
If USC keeps Kiffin then they are getting what they deserve. I def know that every other team in the conference would love it if he stayed tho. WTF was that play calling. Lets run into NDs DLine three plays in row instead of throwing into single coverage on a mismatch to the best WR in the country.

Im pretty sure Kiffin is gone after this year. There's so many good coaches out there. Bobby Petrino would be a good fit here at USC. Sean Payton of the Saints would also do good here too. I knew Kiffin was going to be a cancer for USC once he took the job. Guy is horrible. I heard there's already talk of John Gruden to USC.

HOW DO WE NOT HAVE ROBERT WOODS ON THE FIELD??

Congrats ND on the perfect season.
But Alabama over ND 24 - 3 in the NC.

Well ND has over a month to get their offense 'not bad.' This offense they showed today wouldn't score a TD on Bama.
However, if the Bulldogs beat Bama (ya right), then I like NDs chances.

What I don't understand is how he became such a hot commodity. I mean, he was an assistant for the Pete Carroll teams, right? But did he really have anything to do with their success? Then the fiascos in Oakland and Tennessee....besides his dad and relatively hot wife, where does his Golden Boy appeal come from?

Lord have mercy on ND in the NCG. They managed to score only 22 points against USC's horrible defense. I don't even want to imagine what Alabama's or Georgia's D will do to them. I hope they make the game interesting but who are we kidding. It's going to be a blowout. Hopefully Alabama and Georgia don't fuck up each others players too much in the SEC Championship. Gotta keep that SEC streak alive.

most NFL coaches don't want to have to deal with the recruiting crap, which is completely understandable. i don't think gruden would come either, but if he did i would be ecstatic.

And ND... the luckiest team of all time. Refs give them wins vs Pitt and Stanford. Barely squeak by BYU and Purdue. Face USC without Matt Barkley.
i'm actually expecting the entire starting offensive line of Alabama to get food poisoning the night before the National Championship game.

It's possible to get an NFL coach, but you need the right set of circumstances (like them wanting an easier/less stressful job.)
Or you get lucky like Michigan and find someone who wants to be near their grand daughter. <3 Mattison.

O I am not implying that he is leaving. He was the D coordinator for Urban at Florida when they won that title curb stomping OSU. Urban Meyer is a pretty big fan of his is all I meant. I am pretty sure Mattison is planning on coaching at UM until his health gives out or he tires doing it.

Question for any USC fans out there, did you ever, at any point in time, like the Kiffin hire? I am personally convinced that was one of the worst hires by a major program ever...in any sport. The guy has never proven himself, is childish and immature, is a violation waiting to happen and is connected to the last set of violations still affecting the school. Am I missing something here?
This isn't a case like Saban where you take a dirty coach because he is a winner, it is more like taking a dirty coach and getting to see him waste all the good players he recruited with terrible coaching.
Well to be fair to Kiffin, he may suck at coaching, but he is recruiting his balls off. It is USC though and that isn't exactly a hard sell.

And thank goodness for that. I've never seen such a dramatic difference in coaching ability going from gerg robinson to mattison.

I'm hoping for something more like the 2009 Sugar Bowl.

I think we all realize Alabama should win by 3+ TDs, but I have a miserable feeling they'll commit 8 TOs, the refs will make some bad calls and they'll lose in OT on a 28yd FG or a botched snap on a PAT.
