they are undefeated lol. What do you want from them? They played everyone on their schedule.
If you want to be pissed off at someone, be angry at Florida and Kansas State/

ND is probably a special case... most of the Midwest rallied behind Ohio State when they were in those championship games, right?

ESPN was buttering up the Big 10 all season and the talk all week was about Florida being doomed, and then tOSU got smashed. ...if only the Big Ten got the dicksucking that the SEC got last year. Why would they? Big10 is garbage that can never win the big games, or beat USC for that matter. correction. the big10 can't win rose bowls Also, USC has one of the highest win rates in bowl games. They are like 66% which is outrageous. Well, I'm sure Michigan's record would be pretty good if they played most of their bowl games in Ford Field. Also, that 2007 OSU-Michigan game received way too much love. I suggest you go back and look at the SI issues and stuff. "Game of the century" and stuff like that. It was the game of the century. Bo died. Michigan vs OSU had been voted on as the #1 rivarly in all of sports during the 90's. So much talent on the field. They always do game of the century bulshit anwyay. I dunno why you are so upset about it. Also, As a michigan fan, Michigan's rose bowl record is pathetic. I have a hard time believing their record would be that much different in a dome. Play them at Lambeu and maybe we have an argument O_O I'm saying USC gets a boost playing in the Rose Bowl that most other teams usually don't enjoy. It may not be their stadium, but if you've been to one you know they have a huge homefield advantage. Their record also drops off when it's not in the Rose Bowl.

ND is simply over matched, it isn't like they don't have some great players and a great coach. But Saban is simply the best coach in CFB with the best collection of athletes he could ever hope to have to run the exact schemes he wants to run. He has the elite athletes and assistant coaches and money to crank out amazing teams every year. ND wouldn't win even if bama didn't come out blazing hot.

Used to be going undefeated didn't mean you were a lock to get into whatever bowl was considered the "title game" that year (even if it was only for one team) and a team that was undefeated didn't get No. 1 if there were better teams around. Because real people did all the voting and deciding instead of handing it off a chunk of the decision-making to a computer. So a team with a terrible strength of schedule and very weak wins didn't get much consideration even if they were undefeated or 11-1. Sure there were still controversies but you didn't get the string of awful title games we've had with the BCS. Very few good BCS title games. Bring on the playoff.

Agree.
Saban is unfuckwitable (I'm about 8 corona's deep since kickoff -________-).
He seriously is by far the best coach in college football he skews conference results in his favor just by the conference he chooses ;(
I don't think his results are that much different if he picks any top 15 program in the country. Check out LSU before he got there (LOL)

ND had a better schedule this year than bama..........
I agree with you though. Roll Playoff ( )

Turned out Oklahoma wasn't that good.

Yeah ND's schedule was fine. They played Oklahoma and Stanford who were pretty good, Michigan was alright. USC ended up flopping but when you're planning that schedule, SC looks like solid opposition.
Also they played 10 "BCS" conference teams, BYU, and Navy. Lots of teams will play 9 BCS teams, 2 FBS cupcakes, and an FCS team.
I wasn't that impressed by ND this season, but Oregon / Florida / FSU all choked while ND didn't. (did get some help from the refs but it's hard for the system to take that into account) If one of those teams had won out I'd say put them in the game over ND... but ND's schedule wasn't so weak that they deserved to get skipped over by a team who didn't win out.

Bama had a tougher schedule in the end. A&M (close loss to a Heismann winner at that), tough fight vs LSU, Georgia in the SEC title game, and Ole Miss is a respectable team.
Sure as hell beats Stanford, Oklahoma, and a USC that lost their QB and still gave ND a close game.

You have to be kidding me.
A&M was good by the end of the year but Georgia is big10 status (that game vs Nebraska who gave u 70 vs wisconsin was very close until the end).. LSU lost too O_O.
I'd say the schedules were comparable. Does it look like Bama is the better team? absolutely. But I would argue ND has a better schedule since they beat a conference champion and choklahoma on the road.

I think they average out because ND had less bottom feeders, but the best teams Alabama played were better than the best teams Notre Dame played.

Didn't he also say its easier to win the NCG in the SEC atm?

Rooting for Bama. They better go all the way after beating Georgia, or else I'd be even more pissed about that SEC championship loss.
