It just shows they knew that Ronaihahahihaihaih guy was faking before everyone else did, and they claimed they knew in 2008.

LOL If he doesn't Budd Dwyer himself on TV today, he's gonna consider it then. Jesus if they asked about Dez Bryant's mom being a hooker this guy is gonna get torn to shreds Man I just can't believe that he is that naive. There is no fuckin way. Even if he was, the depths that he goes to lie, so far as dragging in his grandmother and all that. Fuck him.

Commentators and announcers usually gush about the intangibles of players like him. Well, his biggest intangible right now is his girlfriend.

The fact that his own teammates werent' surprised by this is telling. Deadspin article makes very clear to me that he was involved somehow. Dude who did it says 80% Teo knew about it. Feels higher than that. Either a liar or an idiot. Likely both. Funniest part, other than the ND press conference, is how all the NFL analysts on ESPN are saying this won't affect anything because he was only the victim of a hoax and this says nothing about his character. I'd be furious if my team spent a draft pick on this guy, most of all because he is an overrated fraud of a player as well.

L K L K @LennayKay My statement: This is incredibly embarrassing to talk about, but I have been told by Alabama's offense that Manti Te'o is not real. ROFL

A dying girlfriend on top of a dead grandma is just a great "triumph over adversity" angle to shill to the media. Either way, guy's a dumbass

Either way, guy's a dumbass eh the only thing there is this whole thing started when he was a freshman. I think, at least. It has changed so much now haha that's a long time to sit on something my personal gut says it started as a gay cover up and the opportunity to use it as a pr thing came about

Ok, this just throws everything into a knot. Unless there is an amazing coincidence, I am now more inclined to believe Te'o on falling for a trap. Call me biased cause I go to Notre Dame (no one on campus thought it was suspicious, the guy on ESPN doesn't know what he's talking about) but I feel now it is more likely he was duped.

The lies snowballed up until her "death", but then she still wanted to be in contact with Te'o which is why she ended up calling again and saying she wasn't dead. I don't know that I would believe that story, but if he was hoaxed it seems the most plauseable at this point. It would explain why this person wanted to keep contacting Te'o after the hoax was revealed and hasn't claimed credit for the hoax so far and what the motivation for spending THAT much time on a hoax rather than for a prank or for publicity. Which all still leaves him as extremely gullible if the relationship really did last 3 years or even one year with out ever video chatting or meeting. Still it would make more sense as a motive than someone including Te'o doing the whole thing for publicity or as a prank for that long considering Te'o wasn't even famous 3 years ago. It still leaves alot of lieing to at the very least cover up his embarassment, and if he was THAT embarassed, it makes you wonder why he would admit he was fooled to his coaches and atheletic director. Unless he knew they were going to find out anyway because Deadspin contacted him to comment on or research the story and his side of it all.

The "love of his life" was involved in a serious car accident in June while they were dating. Spent time in the hospital recovering, was subsequently diagnosed with cancer and Te'o didn't make it out to to visit once! It was when he was not in school, sorry I am not buying that bullshit.
