Isn't this just stupid? Opponent shouldn't be able to know beforehand what the other team's move will be. This doesn't work and there shouldn't be a possibility like this in a chess game. There will be some stupid people who reveal their plan before opponent team hasn't even made their move. Or then there will be weird planning like for example 10 people voting now "If 2.d4 then 2...d6" and after we move 2.d4 then the rest of the black team votes "2...d5". It's not chess. Obviously you don't do it for more complicated moves, but if it's something obvious like "If he takes here then I take back" then it just speeds things up with no harm done. Same for some opening moves.
But no matter the situation, past move 10 or so even that shows that there is no other combination that your team has discovered in that situation, which can be huge to know for the other side.

I think it would be optimal to vote on the discussion pages, and leave here for people to comment on the game.

If that's the case, then you don't do it. Generally, it's pretty obvious if a recapture is forced or not. Unless it's two 500 rated players playing each other or something, it makes absolutely no difference.

Since I do not know yet if I have time in the next three days I am going to post my vote on the move now.
2. ... d5

2. ...d5 The only logical move here, I think.

d5... what else would you do?
