[poll removed] On second thought, no way to figure out if voters are actually team members.

That's also one of the reasons I'd like to stick to having votes officially cast here on TL rather than counting votes from the private QuickTopic forums—there's no way to verify that someone posting on QuickTopic is who he says he is (of course I don't actually suspect anyone of trying to abuse the system, but I figure it's best to do things by the book. The other reason for doing it this way is that it makes it easy to separate between suggesting a move in the course of discussion and committing to it as your vote).I guess it's probably better to do it this way. Of course. People are welcome to join at any time, including after the game starts. Alright, you can count me in. Thank you for arranging this. Additionally to Quicktopic, I'd like to propose private irc channels for both teams wherein the players can share ideas and discuss possible lines without fear of the opposing team spying on your plans. How does this sound, yay or nay? edit: Right, it might be redundant. Not familiar with QT so I guess we'll see how it turns out.

If many people want me to change that policy, I can change it, but IMO it's a little better this way.E4 is my vote and it is already a majority but just in case. As Dandel Ion says, I don't think that each team really needs to worry about the other reading its forum, but that doesn't mean you might not want something more. For instance, I played in TL Chess Match 4, and at one point I set up an analysis tree to try to organize our team's analysis of various positions that might arise. I only set up the two QT forums here as a starting place for each team's discussion; if either team decides to set up something fancier, that's great.
