Predictions for tonight:
-LAC wants the win against SAC and wins -Utah beats Memphis (this is my biggest question mark for how much effort Memphis will put in as they are only fighting for homecourt against LAC and praying that LAC loses, which seems unlikely) -Denver wins against Phoenix -GS wins against Portland -Houston beats LAL
1. OKC 2. SA 3. DEN 4. LAC 5. MEM 6. GS 7. HOU 8. UTAH

You should hear what Gasol had to say about D'Antoni and the offense yesterday. Shots fired pretty much.
If you just want to hear the first 50 seconds it is probably enough (audio quality lacking, but pretty much big words coming from "timid" Pau against Dantoni and how he has had to adjust): + Show Spoiler +

The Lakers are like a modern Iliad. Jim Buss is Agamemnon, an arrogant ruler overseeing the empire his father built. Phil is Odysseus, the wise one who gets involved only reluctantly. Pau is Ajax, the proud warrior who sulks after being scorned. And Kobe is...well I don't have to tell you who Kobe is.

This is genius. Although if they trade Pau, I think Dwight should be Odysseus and Jim Buss can be Athena. After the death of Achilles, Jim Buss decides to keep Dwight instead of Pau.

And the general population is the city of Troy, just trying to avoid the constant onslaught of Lakers' news. Ultimately, we are bludgeoned over and over again and our will power is dragged behind the chariot of Achilles, pulled forward by his two steeds: Balius and Xanthus, also named Adrien Wojnarowski and ESPN. Then even our fathers must kiss their feet.
I think I lost this analogy somewhere.

I thought Orlando was Troy and Dwight was Helen.

Curious as to why the Grizz are risking their starters. If someone like ZBo or Gasol goes down, Hollins is going to look really stupid.
edit: ok, apparently if Grizz win and Clips lose then Memphis gets home court advantage. Makes sense, although I doubt the Clippers are going to lose vs Sac.

I can't believe they're doing this to us.
The one game everyone is watching, and it's gonna be like 63-62 final.

But, if the Grizzlies rest their starters than LAC can rest theirs!

Manu looking pretty good considering. He has a nice step and is being a pest. I'm surprised he doesn't have more nicknames, but if your name is as cool as Ginobili I guess you don't need it.

Is the NBA going to make-up the cancelled Boston v Pacers game?
|
^ Nope.
On a side note, really pleased to see Gordon Hayward playing so well this season.
