Man I don't know how i'll endure the wait now. Playing all these mediocre games. Really trying to resist the urge to resub Eve, hated the combat in that game..
You should try nano if you haven't tried that already <insert obligatory TL Eve corp plug here>, it is the closest thing to what this game is going to be as far as I can tell.
What do you mean nano?
I been playing Sins Rebellion to pass the time. Not quite the same. Last time I played freelancer on Win 7 i couldn't get the resolution right for my mouse sensitivity and really threw the feel off. Same with many old games.
At least MWO and NFS will be out shortly.
Btw has anyone played Black Prophecy? I hate when they region block games..

Nano refers to a module that makes your ship faster and more maneuverable, and it allows a style of flying that relies on speed and maneuverability to allow the pilot to engage targets that he wants to and run from targets that he can't engage. It requires the pilot to fly his ship manually so it is much more exciting (in my opinion) than most other PvP in EVE.
Yea don't think even that would interest me. Sounds like ur just in some squishy little ship. I'll look up some vids on it though thx!
There were some mods for Freelancer MP that allowed u to play the big battleships and stuff. Flying those were fun lol. I played X3 ages ago before and its just too complex and time consuming.

that would be awesome :D
i own Xwing vs TIE, Freespace 2 and Starlancer Starlancer might be good for training too, cause its from chris roberts and it has a asteroid field map with really big ones

Hold on, you are saying that you can now fly-by-wire in EVE?
I've always wanted to get into EVE Online, but the fact that I'm late 10y put me off. This game tho.. Might be the occasion I've always look for. I've been a space opera affictionados since forever.
sorry, but there is a pretty big difference between clicking on a space map and actually flying your ship in first person. do not compare this with eve; they are totally different and anyone that thinks differently is confused.
no, host issues. from chris roberts (regarding new forums):
we have it ready to go but we need a clean way to link the main site's logon and user info to the forum user info so it's transparent which requires writing a custom "bridge". So we're in the process of having this done. A lot of other places require a separate forum logon to the main user logon to get around this issue, but I'm not keen on that as I want the experience to be seamless and your username, status (groups and squadrons down the road) should work across the site, the forums and the game... CR
you would be glad to know then, that we are on-track to reaching the 1.25M kickstarter stretch goal. we only need to make at least $23,900 every day for the remaining 20 days of the period. given that we are past the initial rush of pledges, we've settled in at $26,300 per day. so we just need to keep the momentum we have now. also, there is typically a last-minute surge of pledges as the funding period ends. finally, keep in mind there are still many people waiting on a paycheck to pledge, so expect a small surge at the beginning and middle of november.
I wonder how many TL'ers pledged? I know there are all types of players, I think it would be great to have a TL good side of military types, do gooders, etc and a TL dark side that does all the dirty work in cutting out competition for the good side.
