Well i have the same problem, but seeing as how all my shit will get wiped from Wildstar when beta is over, i don't really see the point. DS2 all the way!

It wasn't game-destroying, but it was noticeable. I meant cheap as in forcing you to walk on extremely thin edges while being fired at by two rather strong and accurate enemies at the same time. Challenging enemy placement has never really bothered me since careful play can do a lot to alleviate that - I play Dark Souls incredibly slowly and methodically - but the Anor Londo snipers is all about either getting lucky or cheesing them. Or so felt to me.

After a certain point almost half my pvp fights are against level 400 Masters of Everything that can fast roll in Havel gear with 2k damage spells and every stat maxxed past the soft caps. Its stupid. I dont want to have to level a character to have 40 in everything in order to have a fair fight, its bullshit. I dunno, at first backstabbing noobs for a tenth of their health is fun, a challenge even. After awhile it kind of becomes just straight up not fun; you outplay someone for 15 minutes then either die cuz you made one mistake or your PvP time times out because they can literally outheal the damage you do because you stayed at SL150 and they are at SL 400 and all Multiplayer interactions only care about Soul memory now. The last few days I've been pvping in DS1. lol.

@SM: At the moment the only smart way if you want to stay at a certain level range is to make new characters after hitting certain SM thresholds. Hitting the really dumb tiers at 12M+ or even 15M+ is zero fun for someone staying at SL150.

They have way too much hp, and then once you finally kill them they just spam divine blessings. -.- Just, they actually SL 400 and Estus OP.

As for now there is no evidence to suggest the arenas use the same tiers as regular PvP/Co-op. It's incredibly hard to test (since you're relying on people being honest about SM/SL after a fight if you message them) but there have been quite a lot of people running into impossible scenarios if SM really plays a role there. Try rushing to the BoB arena on a fresh character, you'll run into people which very obviously have much higher SM based on their equipment.
