I've asked both major local comic stores, started a meetup group (that no one has joined), and talked to a few local MTG players. Almost nobody here plays it. I'm going to have to put flyers up or some shit. If there's gonna be a scene here, I'll basically have to create the players by teaching people. And this game seems tricky to teach

And this game seems tricky to teach conveniently enough, stimhack has a two-part guide on the topic! http://stimhack.com/teaching-netrunner-part-1/ http://stimhack.com/teaching-netrunner-part-2/

When I introduced Netrunner to my friends, I did the following in order: - Discuss win objectives - Card types from corporation side (Operation, Agenda, Asset, etc) - What the corporation can do with his clicks. - Card types from runner side (Event, Icebreaker, etc) - What the runner can do with his clicks - Icebreaker vs Ice interaction - Sample game with modified decks of what were on the Stimhack guides to make them more viable. What I felt was the most important was getting the first couple games while stepping through the game. And to not discuss deckbuilding until you feel they are ready.

> It seems like runner overall got the best pool, though there are some standout cards for corp they seem to be mostly neutral (guard, fast track) > jinteki finally has some options for a non-net damage based strategy with mushin rush or economic shellgame styles. > Seems like this set is overall about deck manipulation both for the corp and for the runner. I'm looking forward to running tennin institute, an agressive mushin-HB deck with traps, project ares and mandatory upgrades, tenma and a feedback implants/overmind anarch deck.

In this case, he has compiled all of the images for the entire Honor and Profit set in one post: Honor and Profit and Lunar Cycle Spoilers

Blue Sun + Minelayer + Amazon Industrial Zone is gonna be so goofy. Blue Sun turns Oversight into a slightly delayed giga-restructure. I might even do spend most of my influence on bioroids and that bioroid-oversight so I can cycle my Wotan and Janus or something.

Can so imagine this happening on OCTGN... Step 1. Install Adonis Campaign Step 2. Rez Adonis gain 3, return Adonis to HQ and gain 4 Step 3. Install Adonis Campaign Step 4. Did the matches feel more fulfilling I really really enjoyed the change and they did feel more fullfilling(on my side) Considering time constraints and such I can't think of a system better than this one as of right now. It's really different but you actually play a game of netrunner in each round instead of a game if netrunner then this weird game where you play to some weird amount of points. I think the double elimination made for more intense games of netrunner which should be good for future spectating of events, every game was intense and Exciting instead of starting with some huge advantage or disadvantage going into game 2.

Also, Mushin no Shin is great. I like it with Unorthodox Predictions and Junebugs - if you put down a UP and they don't take it, next turn you can just install-advance-advance behind whatever ICE type they can't break, and score a 3-pointer completely uncontested. Shiro is my favorite ice of the set.
