Spending 15 minutes pumping the final boss with tranq darts doesn't really qualify as great boss design for me. At least MGS games made it far less tedious.

It's still got plenty of gameplay and replayability for its price and has NG+ at least, so it's not a bad purchase for me.
Overall I'd give this a 8.5/10. It's got great fundamentals, level design and mechanics, but a tad bit too easy, it ends a bit too quick and isn't paced that well, and the framerate drops and loading times are frustrating. The inability to skip past the credits hurts a bit too.

Do you guys expand your inventory with the praxis kits? It feels a bit useful but wasting praxis on that when I can get something like nanoblades feels like such a waste. For a stealth run with just a stun gun you can manage on a basic inventory I think.

Where am I in the game when + Show Spoiler +I've returned from Golem City, second time in Prague, finished all the POIs and side quests? Just extracted Dominik from Dvali compounds.

I expanded my inventory after all the exploration skills so I can keep more stuff to sell. I'm also doing a stealth run and have never felt the need for nanoblades, will probably only get it after upgrading biofuel stats. Takedowns, EMP, and the occasional long range tranq rifle are all I've used. I've never fired a stun gun once.

Right now I'm at exactly the same point. I did get the expanded inventory and am currently sitting on 7 unspent praxis... there isn't much left to buy for a stealthy run honestly. I do however regret disabling Rhino Armor systems instead of eyes for example... Electricity makes me chug painkillers every fucking time... that immunity would've been nice. Life/Energy bar upgrades are a complete scam, just like in the previous game. I don't even carry a tranq rifle, all my business is done at takedown range (2-people at once) or with tesla blades that I can shoot out.
Right now I am in the process of opening all the hidden vaults of big corporations under the bank's carpark. + Show Spoiler +I opended TaiYung, keycard found when following the SM03 Augs quest line, and Tarvos vault which I got in the cellar of some kind of liquor store... now I am missing Picus Corporation keycard and that will be all

I recommend the hacking from distance one and the ranged stun for praxis points.

Game had been working fine but I have severe stutter and fps drops ever since the latest patch for some reason.
|
i was so hyped for that game, still hyped, but in one hour of play i had two crash, and despite several minutes of trying to optimize at best i have stutters, fps drop, and overall a bad experience
and i'm not even demanding, i just put the game in high overall and my sli of 980 struggle getting a stable framerate
i think i'm gonna wait for the 5th september, cause right now i can't enjoy playing

Somewhat disappointed with the game. Got through the main story and most side-quests after about 18/19 hours. They clearly are trying to cut the game in half because the plot basically started when the game ended, which I think is really ridiculous for a full price game that was in development five years. The gameplay is an improvement over HR but it's not making up for the bodged story. The sidequests are neat but rarely tie into the main story in any meaningful way. And there's about a dozen cliffhangers left and nothing got resolved.

nah man you gotta think forward and see the light of selling another triple AAA game in this series. Gotta milk the IP out all the way

They aren't completely terrible because they have options and paths catering to how you build your playstyle to defeat them. At the same time I found out you can just stun the final boss and knock them out with your melee finisher and end it in 10 seconds, so it's still not that great.

Inventory expansion is critical for me. I wouldn't be able to sell anything or it would be extremely tedious, and you need cash to buy all the necessary upgrades and ammo you need. Besides that its nice to hold a wider selection of weapons and tons of ammunition so you never run out. Compare that to a single aug, that works for a while and then runs out of energy? Its a HUGE benefit!
Anyway there are more than enough praxis points for everything else you could want, since there are a good number of skills in the game you just don't really need at all.

Agreed with most on the ending, they need to come out with Witcher 3 B&W sized DLCs to tie up everything. Game was enjoyable otherwise, too me just under 40 hours for a non-lethal playthrough with the best ending, and pretty much everything explored and finished except for the very first sidequest that I forgot.

Damn why couldn't they make the music as good as HR!
