Hey everyone,
I really wasn't sure where to put this so freely move if you so desire, mods.
I know G2A sponsors TL and I've purchased a couple things from them and everything has been fine and dandy. However, I have never purchased a pre-order through them, and the price difference for the new Batman on G2A compared to retail is quite substantial.
I was just curious if anyone else has done pre-orders through G2A, and what you think about this?
Also a side note, can the G2A Shield monthly thing be cancelled at any time?
Thanks yo

Thanks yo G2A is a grey market website. The big price difference is because the games are aquired with a mix of stolen credit cards and from buying in countries with lower prices.
Use at your own risk

My wild guess is that those are codes they somehow obtained from Nvidia promotion on graphic cards, shady as fuck.
|
Yeah I know they use sketchy methods to obtain the codes they sell. Just curious about pre-order shenanigans.
I posted on the TL dota thread.

i would never buy from those sides, first of all there is always a risk that you lose the key or they "lose" your data to someone else. And then there is the fact that you help some douchebag make money by being very shady.
I didnt know they sponsor TL, thats sad.

Yes there's risks with any online purchase. I am entirely aware of that. Go back to TL LoL if you're not going to be constructive.

what the hell
you literally asked for opinions about G2A
|
You just gave a general statement about any online purchase. Sorry, I might've not been clear enough. I was specifically asking for information or experiences with *pre-orders* through G2A. In any case, I got the answers I needed from other sources.
Also, sorry for lashing out about LoL. I know you can't help it. :X
Ok ok ok. Last one. Sorry. t.t

Steam = 35%
Lmao, they fucked it up good this timw

Seeing as there is no thread for this game... anyone actually playing it and mind sharing his expieriance? Steam reviews and gamesites seem to crumbling with "worst console port ever" opinions, last minute minimum requirments change is something i actually never saw before.

From Rocksteady
"We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible."

Pretty much whoever did the port dropped the ball and didn't do it well. Not really surprised. I really dislike how publishers push for day and date releases on all three systems, but then don't throw their money behind a good port. I feel back for Rocksteady on this one, since they will take the heat, but WB made the call who to hire.

For reference:
gtx 770 i5 4670k Win 7 8gb 2133mhz RAM
So here's the problem in terms of performance for me, and ive tested with all settings HIGH and LOW. The game will run fine for like 10 seconds, and then will stutter like mad, to the point where the game will just outright freeze for several seconds. Honestly this fits the description of what Denuvo DRM has done to games in the past.
That being said, i will wait 24 hours for them to put out a patch, or ask for a refund. If Denuvo is in the game, that information was certainly withheld from the public since i never heard anything of it until now, i could have missed that information somewhere tho.
There's also a rumor that someone from WB studio posted something about people being cry babies and that games are always broken. The only proof is this https://i.imgur.com/ObF1VKl.png . Frankly i find it hard to believe that someone would do something this dumb.
tldr: Do not buy this yet, wait a day or two!

Wow, that's amazing if that is the real guy. And I bet is some trash DRM non-sense, because that is exactly what WB would put on their game loaded with DLC bullshit. I hope this is the last game Rocksteady makes them them.

And its not like Assylum and City were free of problems, especially city with dx11

Stay away from G2A. Also stay away from the PC version at the moment of you can.

Iron Galaxy did the port for Batman: Arkham Origins and that one was fine. You would have thought that they would have gone with the same studio, but maybe Dave Lang already had enough projects.
Its sucks for Rocksteady and I am sure they could have done some stuff, but who knows if the company doing the port was even in the same state. You can bet they are going to be the ones to fix it, however.
But after the botched PC port of MKX, I am blaming WB for just pushing out half assed PC ports of good games.
