I'm surprised I didn't find a topic about this game, so here it is.
Invisible, Inc. is a turn-based tactical stealth game with procedurally generated levels by Klei, the studio behind Mark of the Ninja and Don't Starve. The game came out of early access a few weeks ago now.
I'm really really really liking it a lot so far (played ~10 hours in 3 days). It's a bit like XCOM meets cyberpunk stealth spies, but while XCOM never clicked on me for some reason I'm having loads of fun here.
The campaign is quite short and reminds a bit of FTL, you have a limited time to play as many missions as possible to try to find enough equipment before a final showdown. Equipment includes implants, weapons, gadgets, programs for the AI that allows you to hack into security devices etc.
There is also an endless mode where you play increasingly harder missions until you fail.
But I'm bad at explaining this, so go read the RPS review if you want details, it'll do a better job than me: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/05/12/invisible-inc-review/
Anyone else here plays this? if not you definitely should, its 20€ on steam atm and summer sales should come soon

I've had this on wishlist since last year but kind of forgot about it since I try not to buy early acecss games.
Since it's finished now as a fan of both stealth and turn-based grid strategy games I do have to pick this up during the summer sale, even if it doesn't go on sale.

I play it when I need a relaxed single-player game. Except it's not alway relaxt FTL is a good comparison: losing agents seems to be an integral part of the game, and if you get upset by that, then this might not be for you.
On the other hand: if you like sneaky shenanigans, fedora-driven dauntiness and nano-implants, stop reading now and go get this game! + Show Spoiler + Seriously. Stop reading now

Picked this up during early access but never started playing it seriously until recently and I have to say it's a great game. It's extremely polished and the art style is great (like with all Klei games).
The only gripe I have so far is the lack of variety. After a couple of playthroughs you'll run out of stuff to see. There are procedurally generated missions so it's "new" every time, but there isn't much in the way of actual content like enemy types, equipment and so on. I'm all for gameplay usually, but just the one office type level graphics feels kind of disappointing.
I've heard they are working on content expansion though so hopefully they'll keep on making the game better.

its on sale (-33%) right now. i picked it up and i am literally failing the very first mission again and again. this game is hard, lol.

Some tips that might help.
Watch where your agents end their moves, you want to be in cover if your near undiscovered area's so you dont get caught out by patrols. When you take down a guard they get up again (at the start its in 2 turns). Unless your agent is on top of them, pinning them down. I often drag downed enemies around with me to ensure they don't get up at a bad time, it will make you slower but it beats getting caught.
As you get further into the game. Freeing additional agents is probably your #1 concern. The game gets easier the more agents you have (max 4). Try and get some ranged knockout weapons. They will help a lot with getting out of tricky situations. Lethal weapons are useful but require certain setups (to get around the heart monitor)
My favorite start team is probably International for the ability to detect safes and camera's behind walls and Dr Xu for his EMP wrist gadget. It makes the perfect safe cracker and avoids the demons that will plague you lategame.

finished my first playthrough (beginner, had to retry at least 3 levels and multiple rewinds each level except for the last one). the game is fun, but the story mode too short in my opinion. it feels like you are just starting to really get to play the game when its already over, ~50% more missions would be appreciated. other than that, i like the emphasize on sneaking and that you have very little chance to win a heads up fight, so you better have an escape plan ready when a situation gets out of control.

Agreed the 72 hours is pretty short. Fortunately there is endless mode. Not like story is all that much about story anyway.

how do you unlock agents/gear? at first i thought you do it by freeing the agents but that doesnt seem to be the case. do i have to beat the game on different difficulties or is it something else?

Experience, which is gained at the end of a story/endless play and it is based on the amount of missions you did.

Dunno, about the campaign being too short. While yes I had that feeling when I completed my first beginner-mode playthrough, the Expert mode took me quite a bit more time. You have to play a lot slower/cautiously and I had to restart two times so it was definitely longer. I think it's a bit like FTL where indeed a single successful run is quite short, but at higher difficulties you're kinda expected to fail and have to restart at some point. And the interesting part of the game is to do multiple playthroughs with different setups, which would not really be possible with a 20h campaign.
Plus Endless mode plays completely differently and is more interesting imo. In story mode you kinda have to do with what you find as you have limited supplies. In endless you can be more picky and patient, because you know that eventually you should find the items you specifically want to fine-tune your lategame build. You barely get to endless "mid-game" in story mode.
I haven't done Expert+ yet, as not seeing the vision cones felt annoyingly random to me, and randomness was one of the things that made me dislike XCOM.

Just got the game. It's one of my favorites though I have the same complaint as with FTL: for a roguelike it's pretty long and pretty devastating if you lose everything like, 2-3 hours into a game.

The campaign (72 hours) is 6-10 missions depending on travel times, I don't think that is to bad.

Haha, I just got the pun.

the contingency plan dlc has been release for about two weeks now. (5€) its a great dlc which has all the typcial things you expect from a dlc. meaning more agents, gadgets, enemies and secondary objectives, but most importantly it increases the length of the campaign by about 60%. for me this tips the game over from decent to good. you can experience your agents getting stronger much better now and the new randomly occurring secondary objectives give a nice touch to the game where you have to adjust your strategy mid-mission because something pops up.
everyone who somewhat liked the main game should try out the dlc. the game is much better now.
