Promo video:
Pretty bad video review, but gives you the gameplay and the guy's opinion. Most reviews aren't out yet:
Not sure how it will hold up over time, but I am liking the fact that you can get revenge on people who raid you, the story driven singleplayer missions and the method for improving your squad. I haven't spent money so far, but I can see why I might want to: the best troops are luck-based, and you can buy more chances with gold coins (which you get in a slow trickle, or can buy for real money). Same for the weapons.
I think you can upgrade lower grade troops over time to be equally good (lots of time), but am not sure: maybe the star ranking is a definitive bound on how good your troops are, so a 5-star Rick will always and forever be better than a 3-star Rick.
What I don't like: factions seem really underdeveloped at the moment. They kinda force you to join one, but other than getting an extra soldier in your attack team on some of the missions, they seem pointless. There aren't any missions that you need to team up for, so it's just a glorified chat channel. Global chat is as bad as WoW's but I haven't found a way of closing it :/
That said: if anybody else here is playing, I would be happy to make (or join) a Team Liquid faction! :D
