There's no harm in being competitive or taking a game seriously... or being casual, for that matter

Where I live I see a Jynx just about every time I leave the house, and the most common Pokemon here is Drowzee by far instead of the Pidgeys and such that most people seem to get. Which kind of sucks as Drowzee takes 50 candys to evolve, would be much simpler life to lucky egg abuse Pidgeys. I don't have high expectations out of the trading system, even if it does get implemented in some form it might just be location locked similar to pokestops and gyms.

All of the grass pokemon are straight garbage and all the electric moves are trash. It does boil down a bit to water gun being imba, but again that's in comparison to other moves just being useless.

On the real though, is zen headbutt supposed to be better than lick on defense? do defending pokemon attack at the same speed regardless of moveset?

Pokéstops will also get more interesting, with the addition of PokéCenters which heal your critters, among other things. Legendary monsters are also on the way - although Niantic is waiting for Pokémon Go to finish rolling out worldwide before it releases any." ~ http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-07-25-pokemon-gos-san-diego-comic-con-panel-saw-team-leaders-revealed "First off, the customization of PokéStops for operation among friends and teammates. Secondly, the addition of new, rare types of Pokémon that have thus far been absent from the game—something we’ve all been looking forward to for sure. Additionally, the customizing PokéStops thing will give you the ability to mod PokéStops. Next, Team Leaders—captains of Teams Valor, Mystic, and Instinct, who may operate a bit like the gym leaders we knew in the traditional Pokémon games. Valor will be led by a character named Candela, Mystic by Blanche, and Instinct by Spark. Finally, and perhaps most exciting of all: The option to trade Pokémon will soon be implemented into Pokémon GO. No longer will you have to scrape together airfare to snag those rare species exclusive to Myanmar; just make a Burmese friend via the good graces of Reddit, and you’ll have your hands on your desired type in no time!" ~ http://nerdist.com/pokemon-go-promised-trading-and-other-updates-at-sdcc/

I'm tempted to post my video transferring a 600 CP snorlax into candy just to make kids jelly but i don't want to get banned for clearly GPS spoofing and using pokevision. (I've caught 12 snorlax in the last two days). On the real though, is zen headbutt supposed to be better than lick on defense? do defending pokemon attack at the same speed regardless of moveset? I think that's the general consensus. Or at least defenders have a differing speed so slower moves are better for defense. Legendary monsters seems like something they should hold off on until they figure out a way to curb GPS spoofing & things like pokevision. It's going to ruin a lot of gyms if people are just able to GPS spoof their way into super strong legendaries (if they're even stronger than Vapereon I guess). Yeah it's somewhat impossible in some ways, but I bet there's some consistent location patterns that would indicate spoofing vs legitimate play. I don't know exactly how you'd do it, but it seems like you could at least suspend/ban people who cover impossible distances faster than humanly possible repeatedly (like being in different cities/states/countries seconds apart multiple times). That or some way to require players to have been active in the area prior to the pokemon spawning there so you can't just spoof on top of existing pokemon to catch them.
