its pretty smart, if you combat that pokemon with a pokemon around his level you can level up the gym pretty quickly allowing you to quickly level it up to a high level, at that point he can reap the rewards.
although finding a suitable 10 CP pokemon to beat it might be a lil hard.

I used to stick transfer junk in gyms, because no matter what you put in a gym, it will be impossible to hold, so might as well save on potions.

although finding a suitable 10 CP pokemon to beat it might be a lil hard. i think you get a bonus for less cp, so its better to put in a 15 cp piece of crap that can be attacked by a lower cp than a 10 cp piece of crap since thats the minimum.
most of the time it doesnt matter, gyms die so fast (at least in non-rural areas).

Even in my suburban area, gyms can die so fast that I just stick the first pokemon I see before somebody else steals the spot away from me. Can't be bothered to find my top cp ones. I just stick the first thing I see then grab the 10 points. I don't see the point wasting even our current cheap gasoline to grab multiple gyms before cashing out.

Thats weird. I live in a pretty well populated area, with lots of active players. I usually have 3/4 gyms lasting longer than 21 hours. I have one Pokemon that has been deployed at a Gym on the main street in town for over a week.

This is done by switching the game off/on after each evolution to skip the animation. What kind of phones are the ones that are able to do the restart fast enough? I have an iPhone SE, it loads the game in 4-5 seconds while the evolution animation is roughly 20 seconds. If you can find a phone that loads the game in less than 12 seconds or so then you can win some time I guess. Anyone with an Android phone that manages this?
s7 (+edge) does/should, as an edge user

i don't think this appraisal system is good yeah...the silph road calculator is easy to get wrong if u select the wrong pokemon level Except for the fact that I did use it correctly.
Let's see a screenshot of the Dragonite then

I think this game hates me, lvl 20 and only caught 77 and seen 83. Never got a sighting of snorlax, dragonite, gyrados etc. Rarest seen are blastoise and venusaur which both ran away. Seen another venusaur today, fed a berry and it but ran away after FIRST ultra ball. 2 10k eggs gave me an electabuzz and dratini.

Good luck camping. The 3 pokemons you mentioned have a "higher" chance to spawn in Hougang, Tamps or CBD. This radar is pretty decent but it may have a 5mins lag. You may want to compare it to other radars if any that you are using.
Spawned pokemons last around 15mins typically unless its from a nest then its 59mins.

Abras have a 99% flee rate, so you gotta hit Great Curveballs with a berried ultraball, or else you gonna have a bad time.

I live at the outskirts of Münster in germany. Usually i need to skate 2-3 kilometers to find anything interesting, but sometimes good shit just randomly spawns here. So far I have caught a Kingler/Mime/Chansey/Haunter/parasec/Golbat/Hypno/Electobuzz just by walking around my house^^

Really? I've only encountered like 8? abras so far, but none have ever run away. Interesting.
