Ive never had this work this way for keys. I always get a -1 to highest completed key in my bag, regardless of it being my key or not.
I thought that for a while but i can 100% confirm several times where that has not been the case. The most blatantly obvious are the times where i've ran m+ on an alt, with an alt of a friend. We've both done a single key in the week, say a +16, and i've gotten a 14 back out of the chest while he got a 15.
They used to change the way that it worked week to week quite regularly but AFAIK they stopped doing that a while back.

Just did an Underrot, OWW
The "broken" pull of two matrons and the casty thing before the first boss is on both sides and there isn't a checkpoint until you've got 3/4 bosses and almost all of the trash down, basically all of the stuff added with teeming is between the entrance and the third boss. Absolute nightmare instance on Fortified Teeming
I refuse to do underrot this week without a rogue lol.
I have done it on teeming fortified on beta though, and you can do that double matron pull and survive, but its very sketchy and your team has to get lucky, since if someone gets double charged they likely are dead (also net -> charge is likely death too).
If your dps is solid you can actually burn lust here to clear the pack (kill order mask -> blood priest, or CC both and kill rest first). Otherwise this key is basically shroud past and don't die the rest of the instance (or have druid for stealth to rez).
As ornery as the dungeon builders were, the exterior level designers were worse (or so we were told). The programmers were so frustrated by the overuse of props in some areas (which deteriorated the engine’s performance), that they often went to the producers to arbitrate compromises.
Haha, i'm definitely on the programmers side there
Tokens just gained 40%, what happened? Do people care about the boat mount that much? At this second the NA token is 110k and EU is 221k ;0
Row 3: Armor pieces using the most elaborate appearance of the Warfront tint are obtained randomly from the Warfronts Equipment Cache, a reward given from the quest, Warfront: The Battle for Stromgarde, for winning the Battle for Stromgarde Warfront scenario for the first time during a cycle.
That sounds ridiculous. A random piece of gear every cycle of this specific warfront and we're expected to collect 9 of them? That would take 6 months with perfect luck and it's likely you'd go through the entire BFA without completing the set even though you did it every time it came up.
One thing I have never done in the last 2-4 years (cant remember if its a legion or wod feature), I've never done the pet battle weekly because I always sucked and got my ass handed to me.
How can I suck less at pet battles to do the weekly?
When I did some pet battles quite a few years ago I tried picking pets that were cool and I was having trouble winning tougher battles. Then I just looked up pet battle guides online and they said what teams to use and it became much easier. I don't know if that's still the case but probably just blindly follow the guides written by people who tried everything until they found what worked best.

Token prices plummeted and even got sold out for a moment yesterday when the deal was available in game. So yeah, it does have an affect on the token prices.

It is going to take time if your starting from scratch. I got into it some time in WoD I think and there were guides on how to get started efficiently. I would imagine those are still around. Then you need to farm a bunch of 'good' pets for the actual pet battles and level those. And then its really easy.
Mythrax still eludes me -- still 7/8H despite week 1 AOTC. I've joined various mythrax pugs over the past few weeks and they're all pretty awful. The omnipresent pug strat seems bad. Tank him against a wall for p1, then for p2 everyone gets in the vicinity of one big add while 1 tank 1 healer 1 dps manage the 2nd big add. Kill big add, bring 2nd big add over, kill it, the clean up visions of madness. But with everyone loosely spread, the visions of madness are super spread out and the beam could be hitting anywhere. I kinda want to lead a group and have them do like what Method was doing:
I'm wary of bringing Method strats to pugs but it seems pretty simple and on other fights where something like this would be absolutely necessary, rather than just optimal, I feel like pug groups could do it. With everyone stacked, healing is very efficient, then the small adds spawn very close together, and the beam becomes very easy to dodge because you always know where it's gonna be. Dodging the beam isn't a matter of looking at the boss but rather just looking at the timer or listening to call outs to switch to the other marker. I also don't see the point of sending a dps to interrupt the 2nd add. One volley will complete casting before 2nd add is brought over (tank can interrupt the first volley) and the 30k raid damage is trivial to heal up when everyone is stacked. Should I try to force this strat on pugs?
Also anyone know why so every pug tanks him against the wall in p1? For imminent ruin damage dropoff I guess but that does not seem worth all the drawbacks (harder to bring imminent ruin out, more likely for sphere to hit more than 1 person, harder to dodge the blast, harder for tanks to gather orbs). Plus the way pugs position themselves, tanking against the wall doesn't necessarily mean less imminent ruin damage (ranged standing close to the wall).
I don't even want any loot from Mythrax but I'd like to be 8/8 so this is really bothering me since it's a fight that should be pretty easy since its healing and dps requirements are pretty lax. It's all about positioning and every pug group strat is to have shit positioning ugh

Yeah I have only one Zul kill. Wasted a lot of time on that too.
Didnt you get that when we were in the same grp? That wasnt so bad.
Or you mean you had been trying before that?
Ive been lucky in terms of time spent. I didnt really try the first couple of weeks because pugs are pretty raw. I think a month odd in HC pug clears on the more regular grps shud be pretty easy.
In the meantime,There plenty of gear on high keys. Honestly the Raid gear isn't all that impressive now that tier sets arent a thing.

Decent guilds require some form of Commitment. Pugs you can jump in and out at your convenience, and frankly if you are going to commit to something like that you might as well join a mythic raiding guild. There is a gap in there ofcourse of guilds that DONT do mythic and are ok, but you will effectively end up spending the same time doing HC lvl content when you could take a small step and blast the Normal/HC content and do the Mythic aswell.
I pugged Zul and Mythrax twice each, haven't got a pug that scratched G'huun yet. They always seem to spend half an hour assigning orbs and then testing orb groups, some people screw it up and disband lol
Yeah, it's hard to do fullclear heroic in early weeks and mythic bosses without raid day commitment. I'm finding it tough even with a relatively free schedule because it's not WOD any more, raid time is like 1/3'rd to half of my playtime instead of 80% of it.
It's kinda forced to be a high priority because the gearing rate is so much higher than other content. It's actually not that hard to kill Taloc and MOTHER (2000 kills already) for the shitloads of 385+ gear that they drop, especially bonus rolling them.

I will also point out that the quality of pugs on NA Alliance is probably the lowest of all regions.
