They do roll from all of the different relics already ingame though, so overrepresented relics from dungeon/raid bosses will drop more often and underrepresented relics will drop very rarely. If you can get specific trait one from an easier dungeon (maw of souls havoc BIS) then it's probably faster to do that Traits will roll evenly in the third row of the crucible but it took some heavy grinding to get 69 already with 72 and 75 taking another 1-2 months for most active players to get (the second trait per relic unlocks at those levels). If you're also hunting two great traits with a great power at the same time you need the first trait on the relic to be at least one of those two as well fortunately BrM only has 1 good trait in the entire artifact tree :p

Did you guys 3 tank it ?
We're one night away from killing Avatar and I'm thinking a bit about KJ strats.. seen a lot of people 3 tank it, especially those who don't have 2 druids.

rambling thoughts
roars still super helpful for 1st intermission, definitely use one for focused dreadflame into singularity so u dont lose palys/priests/dks here and then alternating later for shitty armageddon ability overlaps in p2
alliance guilds should definitely run warlock gate to negate the bad singularities after they patched all the bs toys and other abuse shit to live, i died to the one at 1:30 cuz the fucking 3rd tank stood right on the port after 222 pulls on it so i clicked his bear ass instead of portal. so typical to to get a kill when u have the worst pull of prog
we didnt have a blood dk for illidan phase adds but we brought specific players to absolutely shit on them after dh sigil/my double grips, our arms warrior ele shaman absolutely wrecked. ele got r1 world and actually dunked boss dmg. niche class etc etc but u should definitely run yours on kj if hes knows what hes doing
we also jumped a shitton of ranks because we didnt stack execute classes like a lot of guilds are trying to do as well as running 5 heals. the 3rd phase is absolutely not a dps race if ur raid leader does obelisk mark properly and do orbs calmly. guilds running shit like 2x spriest are arguably shooting themself in the foot atm. just need 4-5 deep p3 pulls and we got a kill once assigned people get a hang of marking and running orb

Thanks for the advice, good stuff in there.
I'm curious how we'll round up our comp. Our tanks are Guardian+DH, but we have no other possible player on bear tank. Our off specs tanks are always me ( Monk ) or one of our DK ( he did Desolate third tank ). But it's also a bit special because I'm also the 5th healer when we need one.
So I have literally no clue what role I'm going to play once we get to the boss yet lol

They buffed Dark Sorrows by +40%, that's pretty huge
It's the shadow trait that puts a debuff on target which explodes for AOE damage after 8 seconds or when the target dies. It was performing solidly on multi target / dungeon trash etc before but not exceptionally and it was lacking ST so not really worth taking but this buff should make it just kinda bad ST instead of terrible and make the AOE shine much harder when it's relevant
I didn't expect changes like this on the crucible traits as we can't change the selected traits and everybody already locked in their relics on patch day

MDI viewship surprisingly high, despite 90% of matches being quite 1-sided. Looking forward to more of these!

Got the frost mage artifact challenge this time around, with ilvl 921 lol....... And it was STILL a stressful nightmare for me. I was about 1 second away from dying to 3 different things when I yolo burned him and got lucky. That fight is crazy to me, so the fact that players either say it's not so bad, or that there are other challenges much worse, makes me really sad. Gettin old or something
I did the Havoc DH one in like a dozen attempts with ilvl~910 or so, that one made a lot more sense to me...
Edit: also did the feral one in less than ten attempts and it was the easiest one by far, though also the most fun! I don't mind chaotic and multitasking if it's also fast paced and an overall shorter fight. More attempts in less time, easier to learn, and no one-shots.

Avatar down, time to start some KJ progress. Man that avatar kill was very anti climatic, we got a 1.7% wipe last time and here, got him down perfectly into P2 with 20% health, so he died before second rupture.
Not exactly the same intensity as killing him on the last little island of ground left before last explosion..

Usually if you can counter 3/3 with 2 followers and have one with a like +45% chance with a unit type and throw the +30% guy ont here you can get 100 or atleast close to it.
some of them are super annoying to try and get past like 25% though

honestly i'm pissed. i like doing the missions, enjoyed getting my guys new gear, was looking forward to having even more lucrative and efficient missions. instead you're actually shooting yourself in the foot by completing this quest line
Yeah, best to keep the old quests with the new items - that's what i'm doing right now. There was no attempt to balance this, they should give way better rewards for the extra cost and needing to send good team layouts to them (you can throw whatever at many of the 900 and 925 missions and get 200% for the same amount of AP, etc!)
With the new duration reductions i've got the 3 day command center AP quest to around 19 hours which allows it to be sent off 3 times easily, maybe 4 times in a single command center spawn. The old % chance increase on short missions also used to be +40% and +30% for getting under 4 hours, now it's around +50% and +40% for under 8 hours and actually good. I've been easily completing a lot of the 925 missions with those, but it looks like it wouldn't work properly for lack of completion % on those 950's.
This scaling problem (new missions become available that are harder than old ones, old ones removed, not nearly rewarding enough to make up for it or entirely lacking certain types of reward) has been a recurring issue since day 1 of the garrison and i'd like to see all of the relevant rewards removed if they don't have the resources to balance it properly

Wait till you try the arcane one :p. That one took me longer than the fire and frost combined. I also had no arcane leggos no weapon points and like 904 ilevel. The difficulty on that one should scale down significantly if you have like 930ish ilevel.

Because with frost I had no useful legendaries, at all, they were just for item levels pretty much. But on the feral I had the top two recommended by a few guides (Luffa + Aluiro), so that could have contributed to the difference even though I didn't realize it. Having Sephuz or even Prydaz for the frost fight would have helped the stress levels probably lol

Like this mission Nony
you can't do this shit on the 950 versions
-----
They hotfixed it
The final tier of Argus missions are now less difficult, reward more Veiled Argunite, and reward more bonus Gold.

Is farming en/NH/tos normal/hc and the +0 dungeons still one of the better/effective ways to get legendaries to drop? My gut feeling is telling me argus is shit, yet some people say it's the new way.
