The final tier of Argus missions are now less difficult, reward more Veiled Argunite, and reward more bonus Gold.
Haha yeah isn't it so satisfying when you're like "I know this is gonna be good, but let's see..." and then it goes all the way up to 200%.
I made a post on /r/wow so I wonder if they saw that or there was enough complaining on bnet forums.

I'm curious about this too but probably not gonna do anything with the knowledge lol. Still lots of legendaries I want but not enough at this point to do boring farm content.

For sure. I stopped doing old raids and old world emissaries for a while and my legendary droprate fell off a cliff, my last one just took 3-4 weeks alone (4 weekly chests) despite clearing TOS hc weekly and killing ~150 rares on argus + a few dozen minor rifts, some world bosses and the like. It was the last one for any spec tho, DH is done forever :D
I've seen people averaging 5 times my droprate for 5+ legendaries in a row when they farm old raids and do all emissaries

Wow that's kind of enticing... so is it just one difficulty per raid or normal/heroic are both helpful? And god forbid LFR.
Also, what strategy are you doing with your follower equipment? I know you said you're taking advantage of the short mission equipment. I've got one guy doing that (-20% duration trait, -30% duration equipment, +40% and +50% success for short missions, so anything baseline 14 hours or shorter he's good). Not sure if it's worth having another guy invest in that stuff or keep everyone else generic. I guess you must have another guy if you get 3 day missions to under 24 hours. Or do you put the -25% equipment on your one guy and only have +50% success?
I've got one guy designated as combat companion with all bonus WQ reward equipment. I've got the short duration guy. The rest I'm thinking I want +30% success, +25% success, and +50% success for the thing they counter. I also run Meatball and have him with +20% +25% +30% flat success, so anything with a boss he automatically does +150%, but he obviously can't help counter time/bonus reward/resources penalties. I'm tempted to drop Meatball so I have more counters available, since sometimes that holds me up. And I'm tempted to invest more in short duration.
Meatball alone can give you +60% on some missions without being in party by using his consumables, so i would never drop him. I have him as an allrounder with -20 -25 mission duration and 40% success for <8h missions. All my other champs equipment is all over the place. I have some where i stack whatever they counter anyway, then one that has 40% on both things he doesnt counter naturally and 30% success for all missions. I dont run line ups with just 1 guy though, thats usually not efficient since most missions have multiple effects that you want to counter, so if one guy gives you 200% but he doesnt counter the duration and its a 1d mission thats bad. Or if it prevents bonus loot etc etc.

It's per difficulty, so running every difficulty you can helps (though higher difficulties do more). I couldn't bring myself to do LFR.

Fullclear LFR + Normal + Heroic on all raids
DH's have a hero that has -20% duration by default, she has two more items which are like -30% and -25%. The third is old legendary, -15% duration and +15% success. She can push a 24 hour mission below 8 hours alone, but i think one of my other heroes is something like +50% to under 8 hours, +40% to under 8 hours and a -25% duration as well
Not very well optimized yet, new items are just crazy and my team was set up wrongly before the patch

Follower equipment that improves item level is more likely to appear from Argus missions, once “The Ruins of Oronaar” has been completed.
i remember someone posting something on one of the discords im in saying not to do a certain mission or something cuz it would bug the game out or something

I got the thing now (: didn't spawn for almost a week when i was getting it almost daily before
My friend is on a Druid, he's trying to offspec to Resto while almost all of his legendary drops are randomly overflowing onto guardian and feral - two specs that will never be played because he fills tank and melee DPS on another character for playstyle reasons.
The legendaries are not balanced well enough for it to take 3000 or even 300 hours to get them IMO. Some of them are so bad that you'd just bank them and wear the 50k crafted boots instead while others will be equipped on your character for 50-90% of the time for 3 tiers in a row.
I kinda wanna play my shadow again, he already has all legendaries, but i havent played him since mid of nighthold, so most of those are 940 and i cba to farm the upgrade items.
Honestly, even playing more casually is kinda frustrating. I don't play as much as I used to due to my current jobs working hours. I can't raid with guild so I mainly play here and there.
As such I am still missing 3 of my top 4 dps legendaries. Switching specs is basically a no go for me in any fashion since having to refarm legendaries for it.
I make due with what I have, but definitely sucks knowing that I probably will never see my bis legendary combinations.
Also that Mione video is crazy. That is a lot of skill.
Well atleast Mione killed it I guess. I was away for a week, and he got some of our officier pretty angry about using his Vantus on Guldan during our Mythic KJ progress lol

Doesn't take long to farm those as they drop in LFR iirc. So you can literally do it very casually or really fast. I farmed 100 for 2 in like 2 sessions and i play very rarely these days. Like i think i log in do 3x 10 mythic pluses, then i am just casually gearing and farming on shadow priest and mage.
Anyone been following the amazingly fun WoW expansion speculation thread on MMO Champion? Haha it is so much fun all the "leaks" and discussion!

Isn't that just weekly maintenance hours? They've gotten very short most of the time but not always
