Right, CounterStrike, Smash and DotA are Blizzard games. I mean.... Smash...!
Oh and also, what would be the problem with people being Blizzard fans? The community/website originates from a Blizzard game...
@salle: I'm still very doubtful OverWatch will ever be big or relevant (I feel it may very well go down the same road as Shootmania). Just that I think there's not much to say _against_ launching a wiki about this game. ^_^

It seems like TL's higher ups are just hard core Blizzard fan bois~~~ Well people start wikis for games which they are passionate about, If there is no one to take the lead, a wiki won't happen.

But since overwatch is a New game i don't think we will get Keys that was. But of course i want one They are not giving out "Keys", they just allow access to certain people's Battle.nets accounts. So, there are a lot of people who would normally pay $100 or whatever for a beta key, but cannot due to the way Blizzard has it set up. See below:
Well I didn't mean keys I ment access, as I got a beta ACCESS (if you want so) for Legacy of the Void too without it being a key

EDIT: I'm sure the use of the word "key" here is pretty colloquial. It's associated with beta access, especially on Steam

That color scheme is really cute please let turn all of teamliquid that color TIA

I was really looking forward to this, but then I saw a lot of gameplay and got really bummed about it. Doesn't look like it's going to be a good game to me.

as someone mostly involved in the dota2 wiki that is a problem every time we try to add an old event or old player retroactively

People who are suspicious of whether or not Overwatch will become an esport - what?
There is absolutely no doubt it'll become an esport. The only question is whether it'll be big or not. Since we have a Heroes of the Storm liquipedia, I don't think it's any stretch of the imagination that Overwatch will eventually deserve one too (no offense Heroes fans). It's a Blizzard game and they'll support it.

Liquipedia will slowly take over the world. It's just inevitable...

And luckily for everybody, it's the right thing to do. When we control the world's government, we can declare that all images will have {{FileInfo}} attached under pain of death!

Love the pink theme I wish we had that for the dota 2 wiki.
edit: oh lol this was my 12k post

Dota 2 was the first one where I sort of redesigned the colour of the wiki, and the feedback I got then from the dota 2 people who was around was that it was too pink, so I moved it a bit more towards yellow, like it is today.

Anything is a sport if people compete at it. And I can understand some pro blizzard feelings around here, but with the amount of hype and articles they have gotten on this site for unproven games, it really wouldn't surprise me that at least few people might be getting their backs scratched.
Hope that SF4/5 wiki shows up sometime soon, listing streams might be nice as well.

So to start a wiki, we need people who want to start a wiki. This group of people can be smaller for a newer game because there's less back info that needs to be filled in to make it an actual resource. So the more history the game has the bigger the group of people need to be to help start it up.
We have a thread in the Liquipedia Contributor forum (where people with Liquipedia Silver coins can talk wiki stuff) for people to talk about what wikis they'd like to see and help contribute to. I don't know if there's been more than one person who talked about FGC in it.
