The latest in the Rainbow Six series was released recently.
This gameplay vid, while total promo material, is actually about 80-90% accurate in its portrayal of game mechanics.
Rainbow Six Siege is a 5v5 tactical shooter with a heavy emphasis on cooperation. Gameplay is slower then the vast majority of shooters, bullets will kill very quickly and respawns only occur at the end of rounds, so careful planning and execution are the key to victory in this game.
The single player is present, but severely lacking and certainly not worth the price tag alone. the multiplayer games are attack vs. defense in a variety of destructible maps. There seems to be a good deal of tactical depth in this game, not enough to make it a real competitive contender, but enough to make playing it with a group of 5 extremely fun and challenging
I wanted to hear other peoples opinions of this game and also see if theres anyone that would like to play together
My Uplay is Passiveace if anyone wants to add me for some games
Totally love this game so far. Have 7 operators unlocked right now and they are totally different and nono of them are OP. So far, every game I've played has been lots of fun and terrorist hunt works pretty well. They changed up the difficulty so its more demanding now than it was in the beta.

This game is definitely made for the multiplayer rather then single-player. I dont believe that there is a built in clan/team system. If you want to play with friends you do it through uplay

Can you please show me where I can see this deal? thanks!
edit- Ubisoft just announced the details for the first patch and it looks very promising. The core game play is already fun, despite it not being polished, so if they can keep this up I imagine it will become a very good game.
From my experience levels don't matter in this game since you get XP from playing terrorist hunt or multiplayer. Most of the time, high levels have a terrible win rate and kdr in ranked. The only advantage a higher level might have over a new player is access to more operators, but if you play situations and watch the tutorial videos you have enough reknown to get all the good ones anyway.
i bought this on a whim on the ps4 store while on sale (ends today iirc) and very well worth it. I shredded like 5 hours of my life last night with my friend playing til 3am. I think it goes without saying on this one that having a few friends to play with makes this 10x better.
it really plays unlike any fps out there now with a huge emphasis on team play and tactics vs brute strength. really happy I picked this up
The game is a lot of fun but unfortunately for me and others with 980 + graphics card there is a random crashing issue... Ubisoft has said in other threads they are looking into it but just an FYI.
so any other ps4 dorks playing this?? pm me - trying to get together some people so I don't have to deal with idiot pub shields ignoring my voice command warning about the goddamn obvious trap and blowing us all up
Been playing this a ton since release. Played Alpha, closed beta, stress tests, and open beta too before release. This game kicks ass. I have a couple friends that I roll with pretty regularly, but if anyone wants to play with us (need a consistent 4th and 5th for ranked) add DG.Mistakes on Uplay.
