Any recommendations for fun and simple split screen games? My GF wants to play a bit as well but she is a filthy casual. Already have Mario kart and street fighter.
Also, is the e shop not working today or something?

Overcooked is mostly good with exactly 4 players, though.
From the post i think he wants two-player games.

it might be cheap nowadays since it was a launch game

Ubisoft employee, more rumors for tomorrow.

Pretty sure the NDirect mini was to get over the "small" games coming to Switch (+the Dark Souls Remaster reveal, which was huge, i mean, the REVEAL of the game was on a Nintendo Direct, a Dark Souls reveal on a Nintendo console, unthinkable, speaks volume of the Third Party support)
So a Bigger Direct to focus on bigger exclusives and features feels more like it

Sounds like gc library etc

God help me I bought and installed Skyrim AGAIN...

Tomorrow for JAPAN. Tonight for NA and lots of EU.

Apparently, some new communication from Nintendo that may or may not be a direct is expected tomorrow, focusing on "a new interactive experience on the Switch for children (and old children)".

Online features being added i.e. Switch, Community features ala PS4 has?
EDIT: it's being broadcast on Facebook @ 5pm EST.

What if it was Nintendo VR? I'm pretty sure it's not, and I'm pretty sure it would be terrible if it was, but Nintendo does love to develop whole new ways to interact with video games, and they laid a lot of the groundwork for modern VR.

It's not VR They said it's for kids and people who are kids at heart, there's no way that refers to equipment as expensive as VR
