Of course knowledge and skill ups the chances alot. Also helps that people are scared of playing multiplayer games that aren't highly popular.

And you can rank high just by running around blindly and getting lucky, making it something to play for everyone. Of course knowledge and skill ups the chances alot. Well at least you don't have to spend tons of money every few months to stay competitive and in FPP a lot of the annoying stuff is removed and skill gets rewarded. Definitely lots of RNG with the loot and circle, but it's not that bad. Keeps things interesting and I'm really looking forward to every update from the developers. Could be a really great game, can't wait for more maps.

That is just the way things have gone now, for better or worse.

Played solo first because of the hype. No-fpp mode is garbage to be honest. Being able to see without seen + infinite line of sight makes the game camp fest imo. Spent some some in fpp mode with friends. Experienced two types of games. 1- We jump into action directly without any long term goal. Crowded areas etc.. One got killed for whatever reason and we die quickly afterwards to restart a new one. 2- We jumped a little further on a less populated area. Loot for 10 minutes. Got some good stuff with scopes and such. And later, teammate got killed because someone camped. Definitely not worth the time imo. I try to understand the hype behind the game but it eventually turns out camping for someone and dying without any clue for the other party. It seems a lot of people enjoy the style. Only thrill I get from the game is the chaotic combat but it requires a significant time investment and hardly pays off. For me CS provides that fun in every 2 minutes at worst case.

If this learning process isn't fun to you, then this simply isn't the right game for you. Even though holding angles in CS comparable to holding angles in Battlegrounds and is an integral part of playing the game successfully.

i started recently because pubg is still massive in korea and i have korean friends. also i hate cartoony graphics like fortnite so pubg was naturally the better pick for me. ive played about 30 hours now and all i can say is that this game gives me worse cancer than any other game ive ever played. i pretty much only duo in tpp (pretty much no korean wants to play fpp apparently because the korean server doesnt support it? dunno) with a friend whos unable to spot enemies straight ahead, let alone actually handle recoil and kill something. its incredibly rage inducing knowing that they have 2 guys who split their vision 180 degrees each and can actually split up, clear an area and focus down a guy, whereas i have to cover all angles and hope that if im caught i get to fight one guy at a time for a chance for my duo to survive. the thing is, i know if i was better at the game then i could carry my duo partner with much better success, but imo the learning curve in pubg is pretty high compared to other games ive played. i dont get to practice with guns as much as i want, learning the map takes a massive amount of time and i need to adjust to tpp vision and learn to abuse angles etc. not sure if this game is worth all that grinding, considering its near impossible for me to actually win a game in the conditions i play in. i have literally never played a game where i havent felt the satisfaction of victory for this long. are other people having similar experiences to me or am i just having a particularly bad experience with BR types of games, especially because i duo with an even worse noob than me.

imo, only play FPP. theres so many reasons why. also just take the time to learn the game and enjoy it. lastly because its a BR game, dont get too upset over loses. theres only 1 winner in a 100 person game. hit me up if u want to play on the NA FPP server, i always happy to play duos.

Yes I still play a ton, but I only play FPP. I want to play an actual FPS, not get baited by people using their overhead camera to win. Queue time on NA for a FPP Squad game is usually less than 10 seconds. Lots of players. 30 hours is nothing. I have well over 200 and still feel like quite a newb sometimes. I love the chaos of the game and playing with random squad members. Don't get tilted by dying. You will encounter lots of crazy situations and get owned many times. Those are all learning experiences. I love the chaos and the fact that almost every game can provide you something different.
