For those unfamiliar with Tasteless's favorite: Hackerman it seems that Blizzard is running a Warcraft 3 invitational.
So it seems that with Starcraft: Reloaded Blizzard is also going to be launching a Warcraft Remaster for the original third game.
Does anyone have more information about this 2-27 tournament start date who will be playing and when? I am not sure about the client myself does this mean there is a new Warcraft?

It's the Warcraft3 Invitational from the Blizzard headquarters in Irvine. I'm hyped as fuck! Massively thanks to the hard work of B2W.Neo making this a reality!
Over 15 years since the release of Reign of Chaos, Warcraft III has a new major patch coming and your favorite players are throwing the first Warcraft III Invitational to celebrate it!
Hosted by casters Neo and Remo of Back2Warcraft, join us on February 27 and February 28 on Twitch for a slew of special events, including Free-for-All, 4v4’s, and other friendly competitions. Well-known Warcraft III competitors from around the world will be getting together live at Blizzard HQ to showcase their talents in friendly competition!
We love and continue to support our Warcraft III community, and we’re excited to see classic competitors like Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen, Park “Lyn” Joon, and Kim “ReMinD” Sung Sik try out all the new PTR changes for themselves—including balance adjustments to many heroes, 16 widescreen support, and more – all playable now on the PTR!
Be sure to tune in for your own sneak peek and check out our PTR patch notes for more information.

You are right, but i would prefer something frequent more like WCS for SC2. A one time thing is not bringing back people.

It'd be cool, but if they're not going to do for that for BW,even with the remaster it makes me skeptical they'd do that for WC3.
