Go on...

Go on what? He hasn't introduced a new hero or item that is remotely balanced since....NEVER. Through the simple fact that his beta team fails so hard at understanding the game and loving to mess with game mechanics that should never be done in small steps.

I was talking about the AoE culling blade :S

AoE Culling Blade on a global casting range with short CD = Ancient Apparition's ultimate. That skill is straight up bullshit, he's Zeus on roids with a stun is what he boils down to.
Another example of well thought out heroes by Icefrog and why I hate his team's feedback.
AT 16, 150 mana on 20 sec cd that kills if under 12% that freezes HP for 9 seconds? really?

Another example of well thought out heroes by Icefrog. Slark and AA need more thought to them, they are horribly made heroes. AA's Ultimate is better than Culling Blade. What makes it most annoying is cancellation of heals.
Cold Feet: Boring ass spell in general. Ice Vortex: my favorite AA spell but still needs to be rethought, you can have multiple of these... Chilling Touch: 50-46-42-38 Cooldown REALLY? Just rescale this shit.

' I purposely like to introduce new heroes as imbalanced so I can know how to fix them according to their glaring strengths ' - IceFrog
The global aoe culling blade thing came from me calling it that cuz I seem to die to it more than anyone else but I mean...if you really look at that hero and he goes through the normal imba>nerf>tweak that most heroes go through, AA will be a shit hero. That's his only real saving point as it is. Basically he's in his imba state now, but compare that to recent new heroes like TC and Bat when they were in their imba stages and you can see how he might turn out.

Hrmm...? I've always considered murloc and AA to be below average heroes. They're pretty shitty as far as I can tell.

Oh by the way you totally shoulda seen that video where he hit 3 heroes with ult, and then ursa used overpower and thunder clap and gave AA triple kill while he was still in fountain

Don't see what's wrong with slark, maybe people just hate the concept. AA just needs number tweaking and his ulti cd increased a lot.

What makes them good is overpowered, then when said things get nerfed, they go into the neglected heroes bin. Slark's gonna be the new pre-nerf CW, there so much mid game potential for him. Tinkering with movespeed never works out well for new heroes.
AA is dumb, that ultimate is dumb, the fact that it gets fucking bigger the farther you are from the target is dumb. The HP lock out means if unless you get some kind of true invincibility you are dead is dumb. What gives you true invincibility? Nothing. So you have no outs unless primal split/split image/manta/purge removes it.

AA is pretty shitty if you consider he will be nerfed and his ulti is the only thing really good about him. He has very little laning ability that comes from himself, I think he depends more than anyone on the other player.
Slark on the other hand is close to broken as far as I can tell. I'd like to know why you think he's shitty. If you are a competent player, slark is pretty much a dream melee ganker. Built in bkb, ensnare, and a stat steal that steals waaaaay too much.
Anyway they both aren't like omgwtf imba, its just that they are in their ' imba ' stages as far as icefrog character development patterns go.

yea, already saw. i'm sure i would have enjoyed it much more live, it was effectively long periods of farming broken up by xxf saving nirvana in team fights and delaying the inevitable
the offensive gg was cute though :D

Basher doesn't stack with bash abilities like say for troll warlord. If I'm not wrong, a basher actually does stack for faceless and so does a butterfly with his evasion thingy because of its mechanics and triggers being different from bash and evade but serve they same purpose.

Basher doesn't stack with anything (item or skill) except MKB (both of its procs). True evasion != triggered heals.
I should clarify I am referring to the stun duration. For melee heroes with bash, should both instances proc a bash, the damage is stacked but the stun duration is taken by the longest. This is why melee MKB >>>> ranged MKB.
|
yeah basically what judicator said. basher doesn't stack with void, but bfly does stack as his passive isn't actually evasion.
also heen, i saw ur 3rd place wcg asia match on gg.net!
