And I'm not gonna bother to scour the internet to find the actual statistics and their explanations, but the world is not overpopulated. The West is overly rich relative to other areas, thus we are very prosperous while some starve. With the right technological advances+proper farming techniques from what I recall, we can hold another 2-3 billion people. Beyond the fact that is only really an issue for the west, which has an underpopulated aging population that will cause a massive demographic crisis [thus raping our economy]. The world itself may have a vague fear of hunger and over population in the next century, the west has the exact opposite. Big families should be encouraged here.

It's ignorance like this that makes me cringe. But let's not spoil a thread about a supernerd getting hitched with a discussion about overpopulation/marriage as an institution. Make a new thread if you want to have a discussion about that imo. Congratulations to mister NonY, maybe you can teach your wife a bit of starcraft!~:D

Because you have to think about your family not just yourself. It's selfish to have a kid and not be able to provide him things to succeed in life when you could wait 3 years and have those things.

Anyway, for the gamblers: + Show Spoiler + It was Corinthians. She didn't cry. We lost the best man after the bachelor's party, and momentarily we thought we'd lost Nony too but it was only because we'd forgotten he was downstairs on the couch. The best man was found and tolerably injured. There were several moments worth mentioning, but I'm too drunk to type much. You'll settle for the following: Following the bachelor's party, the wife-to-be walked up to Nony - she was carrying his boxers, stretched to about five times their normal circumference - as reality sank in, Nony's eyes closed. He let his head roll back and sink into the couch. Nony has always been a fan of replacing "gg" with "I surrender," so I think it couldn't have been handled more eloquently. I'll see about pix tomorrow. Merry Christmas TL

That isn't modern generational thinking whatsoever.... men were always supposed to be financially stable when marrying, it's just nowadays with many people going to college it takes longer for them to become financially stable because most college students are poor/they are in school for longer periods of time before finding their careers.
