All I ever use and see now is x. There are two different systems internationally for writing 3 point 14 for pi. In much of the world 3,14 is used. In the nations Great Britain influenced 3.14 is used. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_mark#Hindu.E2.80.93Arabic_numeral_system Thus using anything except x or * means different things in different countries. A raised dot is still used a lot when writing with a pencil or its equivalents. On keyboards it isn't a default key and thus fell out of usage when writing on computers, typewriters and mobile phones. Raised x is also the default multiplication sign and should be taught and used. Easier to see even in normal writing since a raised . can be missed in many cases. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplication_sign

-- My question: What exactly does the Q in LGBTQ stand for ("queer" seems like such a nonspecific word)? Like, if I subscribe to the whole "no strict biological gender binary" thing, and I think dudes can be attractive but am not personally all that enthusiastic about the idea of nailing 'em, am I queer?

I'd like something a bit technical, maybe with practical examples (i.e. hacker X wants to access these files - he enters via Y, does Z, they discover him because he left W, etc.) You can find pentesting/ethical hacking courses (most of the time not too technical); there are a number of applications designed with flaws so that you can test to see how a given attack works (web goat for example). You can also check known tools and their usecases, or retrieve analysis of documented major attacks and/or vulnerabilities. For attacks you usually get the description of the general method used. For vulnerabilities you sometimes also get how the attacker got to the flaw.

Then there where more and mire if these types, trying to outcompete eachother.......

I'm interested in something cheaper because I don't plan on doing any crazy editing. Mostly just cutting up different videos and then splicing them together. (Like a compilation video of sorts.) I don't know if this is the place to ask, so Mods feel free to remove this on any grounds. A second part to this question, where's a good place to ask this question? And if I made a bacon-weave pizza (using the bacon weave as the crust), what should I use for a sauce?

It's longer at my school but it's pretty liberal. think we do LGBTQIA. two-sprit is a native American thing. don't know enough to go into detail but it appears to be around for a long time. there's also something in India but forget what it's called. But Q is generally an umbrella term for who your attracted too I think. but yeah it's breaking into different things, pansexual is one. I don't know why people get so mad about it it. It's like in philosophy how people create terms all the time. Nobodies asking you to memorize it and how someone describes themselves has no affect on your own life.

Try the simple questions and answers one, you usually get pretty decent answers there. There's probably some free stuff. the professional stuff is like Adobe premier and final cut. There's probably some decent cheaper options, I had something that came with my capture device once.

Basically saying if transgenders can remove a body part why can't we? Thoughts? Should this be allowed? Is it really any different? http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/woman-demands-doctors-sever-her-spinal-cord-to-align-body-to-mind-‘same-as-a-transsexual-man’/ar-BBzk3wT?li=AAggFp5 I don't know enough about it, but I am more inclined to agree with the second part of the article than with the first, in that transgender people have a serious psychological disorder (just as "transabled" people do), and making their body fit their self-image is an absolute last resort, which hasn't actually been proven to work yet (although that Swedish report that is cited is also not honest: one shouldn't compare transgenders who underwent an operation to the general population, but to transgenders who were denied an operation for whatever reason... otherwise all you are doing is saying that transgenders have more problems than cisgendered people, which is undoubtedly true).

On the other hand male to female transgenders know their dicks are theirs but want them removed because they want to have female bodies. As I said, I don't know enough about it. And they are clearly different disorders. That article makes a case for them being rather similar. It's a rather biased article, and to form a more confident opinion on the matter I would need to read into it a lot more than I have. Hell, I don't even know how transgenders are usually treated (are there methods for treating transgenderism as a disorder of the mind rather than a disorder of the body?). I just know that there are a number of high-profile transgender people who have undergone operation and are TV personalities and spokespeople for their disorder. My "feeling" comes from my general feeling that because disorders of the mind are hard to treat, inadequate "false" solutions are often proposed (such as overdiagnosing ADHD and medicating them all with Ritalin, not to mention the number of adults on anti-depressants). If the surgery is an effective treatment there are still ethical issues with it: for starters, it's serious surgery that, as most serious surgery does, often has lifelong side effects. But whether or not it is an effective treatment is (apparently? pubmed citation needed) in doubt, which makes the whole situation more problematic still.
