That happens in Italy too (especially in the South where it's common to call children with the name of their grandfathers/grandmothers) but they don't add the number...why would they if the father/grandfather don't play in the NBA too? to me it sounds so exotic, medieval-like

Skipping a generation or two is fine, naming a kid in honour of a parent is totally reasonable. But naming a kid after yourself just feels weird to me.

I always thought this was just a sponsorship thing but I never got a proper answer. Headphones for noise cancelling so the audience doesn't give things away. If its a headset around the neck its for the mic with comms to their teammates.

On a construction site with construction workers and engineers, what is the ratio of worker to engineer usually? So a canal is being built and it will require a workforce approximately of 30,000 people to work on it, how many of the workers are skilled workers and how many of them will be unskilled?

The earth and the moon orbits around each other via the center of gravity which causes a centrifugal force that pushes an outward water rise on the distal part side of the earth while the gravitational pull of the moon causes the other tide rise on the proximal end. Seeing as this is only possible if the earth is to be round, how would this be explained? I only ask because I’ve seen some theories on how the sun rises and sets with the flat-earth theory. And I would like to see their pov of this as well.

Water Is naturally diamagnetic, which means it repels a magnetic field. It creates a magnetic field in opposition to an externally applied magnetic field. The close sun is a positive electromagnetic energy repelling the water in the ocean, creating low tides and and the moon is a negative electromagnetic energy causing high tides. They work together like a perfectly designed machine. it's all science.Edit: word of caution - if you dig to much into it you'll start believing.

Light is positive electromagnetic energy and darkness is negative. That's why you have light and dark sides of the Moon. Two opposing poles of a magnet.

Does the multiverse imply that at one point I'll be you and you'll be me and we'll have the exact same conversation at some point in time, but with me having your cognitive abilities and you having mine (you know, dependent on nature and nurture)? Therefore everyone will ultimately have had every point of reference ever. Also, is people's feeling of being reincarnated or dissociative personality disorder other multiverses bleeding/communicating into/with ours?

Ever heard of the dark side of the moon? Why would you assume there is no dark side to the sun ? We are being lied to and people try to convince us that the sun is a spinning plasma ball 150Mkm away, but all I see is a flaming disc passing in the sky. Chances are the other side of the disc is dark : - It would be wasteful to light the other side where there is no need for it, so by design it should be dark. - If it was as bright, we would see at night the light reflecting at the end of the universe, which we don't.

Hold your horses. I never claimed that. Oh, my bad, thought your reply to Simberto meant the negative influence of the moon was due to its dark side and implied that the sun had no dark side (hence its positive influence). I stand corrected. Anyway, everyone informed knows the tides are due to the breath of the earth rising and lowering the ocean floors.
