My toes hurt now. btw those thorns are called "duiwel dorings" in afrikaans, and since youre from holland you could probably make out that it means "devil thorns" that shit is evil. A friend of mine had that shit go right through his shoe, through his foot and out the other side. That however doesnt come anywhere close to having that shit go under a toenail. I dont feel so good. That's nothing. When I was like 13 I was carving my name with a small flat rock on a tree. I'm not sure what kind it was exactly, but it's the sort of tree where the bark is sort of a soft skin with a little gritty texture that is grey (and about .05-1mm below is a green to white flesh inside). Well I was carving it in fast and I did a good 2-3 inch curve in a letter and all the bark and green material jammed up under my nail. It was painful as fuck and it stayed in there for at least 3 weeks.

I get nervous with heights anyway so it's not too unusual since that is a common fear.

I get all nervous when I see a plane or a train on google earth. Fuck knows why, I have no problem flying and used to commute on a train twice a day.

Sometimes, when a clock in the school is off, they have to recalibrate the entire system since they are connected to each other, and if one is off, fixing it requires changing the whole system. So what they do is they cause all the clocks to move really quickly, like the minute hand moves two and half minutes every second. OH MY GOD. The first moment that I look at to see the time and instead see time going haywire just totally terrifies me. And the hands make this clicking sound, click click click click click click oh my GOD I hate it. My stomach drops and my hands get cold. I don't know what it is, maybe a feeling of disorientation, but it really scares me. Only for a few moments though, if I force myself to stare at the clock for a few more moments then I generally overcome the fear, but still have a sense of ominousness. Very unpleasant. Hey man, I know how that clock thing is. Growing up as a little kid I was in an accident that made my neck slightly crooked and caused me to be a temporary epileptic from some nerve being pinched or something. . . Anyway, one of the triggers that would set me off into a seizure was the sound clocks make. Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, BAM i'm in a seizure. I eventually grew out of the seizure part as my neck straightened back out after a few years but damn, that sound makes me cringe and freak out. My mind starts focusing in on the sound and everything goes a little vertigo and what not. ...
