Its the reaction of the general public as one single video made from sensationalist view with good editing and cheesy musics can start a whole new movement in a blink of eye while there are much larger threat to humanity than Kony. This proves that the human race is very whimsical and would choose to act upon feelings rather than being rational. This whole event is face-palm worthy. The only thing that inspires face-palming, are the robots that don't understand humanity and keep crying that: "This isn't the right way to care!" How can you seriously claim that the goal should be for the entire human race to be rational, and only then will you accept people caring about this stuff. Doesn't that ever make you stop and wonder about how realistic your expectations are? When you expect the entire human race to change its very nature... For someone so rational you sure pick arbitrary reasons to complain. The fact is that these people don't care why you want to help. You don't need to cry about the victims of the Haiti earthquake before you are allowed to donate. Some of you honestly believe that victims of atrocities and disasters will refuse a helping hand when it comes from an emotional viewpoint rather than a rational one? "No thank you, I only take aid from rational people thank you very much."

I'm not going to say I love you Zalz, or any other feel good crap. I would ask if it's principle or salary that drives your positions. You dance neatly around subject matter in the last page and a half that would give any 'ardent' supporter of the campaign pause. I wonder why you do not. What about the viewpoint of the young lady with family still in country, or the video linked by TehPrime. It reminds me of how weapons of mass destruction turns into 'staying the course', despite all evidence to the contrary.

What about the viewpoint of the young lady with family still in country, or the video linked by TehPrime. It reminds me of how weapons of mass destruction turns into 'staying the course', despite all evidence to the contrary. My response wasn't against/for the cause, which one can be critical of or not. My response was aimed against the endless torrent of "You don't care the right way!" or "You don't know TEH TRUTH!". More the first than the later in this case, though the two tend to overlap somewhat. People complain about people reacting on emotion, and somehow that is wrong and that shouldn't happen. Then, on the next topic they complain that nobody gives a shit and (as always they single them out) Americans only care about themselves. I am so sick and tired of people that cannot tell the difference between intelligence and cynicism, even if their life depended on it. It doesn't matter to them what the most accurate or well-documented position is. The only thing that matters is what position is the darkest, most grim and most cynical. Surely the US can't send troops to help Uganda (on request of the government) to foster better relations. In and of itself I don't recall that improving relations between countries is an illegal act, but for some reason when America does it, it is. So America can't just be fostering better relations, no, it has to be more sinister. And suddenly, without any evidence, this campaign is turned into some conspiracy bullshit US army tactic to invade Uganda to capture oil supplies which, last I read, are so nihlic that they are of nearly no importance, even if the entire US foreign policy was about oil. And if throwing conspiracy theories around that have no evidence to speak of, they complain that people aren't caring about this problem the right way. Who gives a shit that people are discovering about this problem via a viral video? You seriously have people that complain and bitch like politco-hipsters that they knew about it first, so they are the real people that care. Seriously? Most people these days flock towards the most cynical position they can find. Like I said before, they cannot tell the difference between an intelligent position and a cynical one. What about the viewpoint of the young lady with family still in country, or the video linked by TehPrime. It reminds me of how weapons of mass destruction turns into 'staying the course', despite all evidence to the contrary. At least those people bother to change their positions when they prove to be wrong. The least amount of effort you can put into it. Most people here are still bitching about oil whilst there is no evidence that suggests the US invasion of Iraq had anything to do with that, nor is there evidence that they stole any or that they struck bargain deals. Some people, regardless of pro or anti-Iraq war, just don't give a fuck about the facts. You will find those people on every topic.

Lol Ugandans can smell the bullshit. Shows how damn short sighted you are when the people you're trying to help are unhappy with you.

If the people of Uganda reject this campaign, perhaps people will start to wake up to the fact it has come years too late? Slick advertising can bullshit people on Youtube, but it clearly doesn't impress the people that Kony actually hurt. Telling, very telling imo.

It's the Russian Fox News. 2) Well, his campaign went from a complete success to a total failure and disaster. He probably suffers from severe depression now.
