What watches are you wearing Teamliquid? Do you still wear a watch in this age?
Personally I wear:
Being a poor college student like myself, I get around +/-5 seconds a month so I'm happy so far.

Right now I'm wearing a Seiko5 on leather (pic stolen from the internetz). But I've been oogling the skx007 for 6 months now. Not sure if I can resist buying one
And about wearing a watch in this day and age? Yes. I enjoy honest mechanical "single-function" devices.

I know, that thread actually got me into watches in the first place
I think the threads are not quite similar. Whereas the other thread is purely about showing watches, this thread opens up the discussion about whether people still wear watches in this digital age. People that do not wear watches have an opinion that interests me, and I'd probably never see those people voice their opinion in the "Show your watch" thread (although there are a few who posted their phone in that thread)

I wonder if watches will someday be obsolete. Probably . I have such a close bond with my watch, I just love knowing the time

I wear this guy, I love the mix of gold/stainless steel on the band and the blue face. Gives it a high-end nautical feel. Keeps pretty much perfect time. Had it for about 2 years and haven't made any adjustments.

I wear a digital watch because we're usually not allowed to have cell phones out in class (HS) and the clocks are often inaccurate. Also, it takes only half a second to glance at a watch while it takes a few seconds to take out and turn on the cell phone. A digital watch is also convenient for running.
I don't see any point in owning an analog watch or one that costs more than $40.

Watches are stylish, a high quality watch that costs more than $40 will last you a long time.

I wear this watch, and I love the color scheme quite a bit!

Mid-range citizen watch, black leather. I love this thing. Affordable for a college kid like myself, too.

So, I am looking to buy a new watch. My budget is flexible but around US $800. The kind of watches I'm into: http://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-Swiss-241431-Maverick-Black/dp/B003ZJW7FY/ref=sr_1_46? s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1408239068&sr=1-46&keywords=swiss+army+watch
Black/Silver. Analogue. Sleek and cool looking..
I don't really know much about brands and stuff, so if you guys new really good brands that have a style a like, or a really cool style I'm not familiar with and I should consider, let me know!
