I speak/write english and swedish fluently, and I have (hmmm, perhaps had is a better word since this hasn't been retained at all since I studied them) a basic grasp of italian and german. I'd like to learn french, spanish and japanese.

These first 6 are languages that I either already speak, have good knowledge of, or in the case of Korean am trying to learn atm. Especially no 3, 4, and 5 shouldn't be hard to get to the fluent level. 1. Dutch (native speaker) 2. English (fluent) 3. Spanish (can understand and speak it, but not with the best vocab or grammar) 4. German (can comprehend and with some practice speak again) 5. French (same as with german) 6. Korean (very little knowledge) Not to sure about these yet, as I mostly feel like picking up a language that might come across my path (when I go live somewhere work related or w/e). But at least these languages are interesting to me: -Italian (can comprehend a little bit) -Portugese -Russian/Chinese maybe? I dunno... Furthermore, I think it's really useful to learn to understand the essence of languages. I've come across some interesting literature, a book that explains how all languages basically consist of 8 to 10-ish of the same elements, and some research on how the average language only requires a vocab of 5000-8000 words to be able to understand 90% of it. Really cool stuff. Unfortunately I forgot both of the names so if someone knows what I'm talking about and could help me remember them I'd be really thankful xD On July 15 2012 00:59 therockmanxx wrote: I need practice english more !! =3 En serio solo en teamliquid practico mi lectura en ingles haha Dont you mean: Equipo Liquido?

1. English (still fluent!) 2. Mandarin (been working on my characters - I'm a native speaker, but my reading is terrible; I can read books aimed at Elementary schoolers now though) 3. Spanish (listening and reading is good, at about an early middle school level still) 4. Korean (capable of basic speaking) 5. Japanese (capable of basic speaking, but I know a lot of kanji XD) 6. Latin ---- replaced with Russian, no progress made yet 7. French (capable of basic speaking) 8. German (need to learn) 9. Italian* (need to learn) - replace with Portugese? 10. Taiwanese (speak at a child's level) How are you all doing?
