I heard the super dirt cheap Silver was scrapped and they decided to push flagships instead. the new nexus has a 64 bit processor and a 9 inch screen starting at $399, which sets it directly in competition with the iPad Air 1&2, latter of which starts at $499. the 9 is at least 20% cheaper than 'apple pricing'. Actually, it should be compared to something between the Mini and the Air. Given the fact that you get 15% off via Apple on Campus on an iPad Air, that the original Air 'only' costs 389 Euro now, that the refurbished Air 'only' costs 329 Euro (from Apple!) and that the iPad Mini 2, which is essentially the same as the 3, now goes for 339 Euro upgraded to 32 GB. So either of the 'old' iPads is cheaper than the Nexus, whereas the iPad Air 2 justifies the increased price via it's bigger screen, slimmer profile, better processor and graphics etc. I think iOS is garbage on any screen larger than 4", because it's far too restrictive to actually USE the device, but you can't argue that the Nexus is better for its price. I got myself the iPad Mini, LTE, 32 GB on Monday, and I love it so much. Then I turn on the screen, use Safari without adblock, can't use torrents, can't use whatsapp, can't properly access my pdf folders for my sheet music, can't even reply to an iMessage without PAUSING A FREAKING SONG ON Youtube... That's a shame, because the only thing that's worse than iOS software is Android hardware.

But as of late its starting to drain real quick, about 5-10% every couple hours or so. Can this be fixed by simply getting the battery replaced? Has anyone else come across this problem? edit: Its definitely not background apps, I clear it every time before I lock my phone. Its like a ocd of mines.

Your act of closing every app might actually be the cause of your battery drain. I hope you're not doing it with a task killer.

best phone ive ever owned, premium quality, great screen, pretty much stock android (which is the only way to go), and the touchless control are SUPERB, and ive yet to see any slowdowns. Camera is ok, i would call it... "random", sometimes it takes beatiful, amazing photos and another its just meh... which maybe can be worked out with a few updates but to be fair, i have my camera for photos Some said battery life was sub par, but for me it last a complete day with 4G, Location, etc... granted i dont play games on my phone so maybe theres that, the average is about 16 hours with 4-5 hours of SoT After this, theres 0 chance im going back to anything that its not stock android, especially compared to Lagwiz :p Cant wait for Android L !

Also - have any nex 5 owners been able to get bluetooth metadata to work with display devices? My car stereo won't display any bluetooth metadata from my phone works with other phones just not my nex 5 sadly Works fine for me. I'm running CarbonROM on mine and have had no issues with the metadata in my car screen.

I used windows phone for a while. The search function is terrible. If you search for something like mario's pizza, it'll display a result that's on the other side of the country. The traffic information much worse than google maps. Even the maps data feels outdated. I'll take Apple maps over it any day.

Whatsapp never supported tablets 3. You can either download the PDF file through the web, store it in a cloud service, or transfer it via itunes to Adobe reader or the PDF app of your choice. 4. You can do that on a android device? If so tell me how to do it.

I really need large storage for music, and front facing speakers would be neat-o, I'm not quite sure what to get. L looks pretty, but the Nexus 6 is far too large for me. Does anything come close to the Xperia Z3 compact?

Is there a way to set it up so that a one-finger swipe down, does what the two-finger swipe down does?
