So, I'm pretty sure I can't be the only one who finds that most bands have better non-single tracks then their overplayed ones on the radio. Post any genre, but I will post mostly rock n roll. Spoiler the videos though. Hopefully this will give some people a chance to dig into their giant cd collections (: these are some of my favorites.

edit: isn't this the same as any other music thread apart from the fact that the songs posted aren't singles. So post all the favorite songs you like that aren't a single (so still a loooooooooot of songs remaining that aren't singles).

I don't know if I should answer this since I don't listen to any bands or artists who release singles or get radio play since it's well known they're pretty much all awful by definition.

Odd thing about this song, there is a line "By the time you hear this I will be gone" and he died in 2010, and this song was released after he died by a friend since he wanted to upload his older stuff...

Most good songs that I listen to aren't singles though so this topic seems a bit silly.

99% of bands I listen to don't even release singles so I don't have anything particular in mind...

The Clash: Safe European home Black Flag: Family man.

Pyramid Song was a single, though. D: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_Song
I'll try to limit my list to artists that actually have prominent singles.

Oh, I'm so sorry. You're right lil wayne is the best artist who ever lived and he definately needs to be paid more. Yeah, I could be more pretentious by actually being pretentious instead of affirming a fact about the music INDUSTRY. If you spend some time listening to more music, then you wouldn't need to listen to that shit and you could comfortably agree with me.

Wow, that's heartbreaking, he was a fucking genius and it hits so hard that even at that age he felt like that, it seems like the drink and drugs was the only thing that kept him going as long as he did, he released his philosophical album as a teenager and eventually it's ability to keep him calm wore off.

Why do you think you have any idea what kind of music I listen to? Writing, performing and listening to music is pretty much how I earn money to pay for my education, which, incidentally, is also 50% music, so your personal attack is unwarrented.
Also, I haven't said shit about lil wayne, nor do I try to defend the music industry in it's current sad state. But basically claiming "every band who's ever released a single is crap." has nothing to do with acquired taste, it's just you being a condescending prick.
