Is there an easier way of shutting down f-secure than ctrl - alt -del -_-?
Actually, is there an easier way to shut down ANY antivirus program than using ctrl alt delete and shutting down 10 different processes? Seriously, I don't want to leave my computer completely without an antivirus program ideally, but if I can't turn it off with the click of a button..
Is there a reason for this? Maybe it's something obvious that I'm missing ._.

I've never used any form of anti-virus and I've been on the net for 5 years. I caught the worms that anybody caught because anti-virus programs couldn't stop them and that's it.
Don't open attachments of spam mails and don't click pop ups (esp. in IE), you'll be fine. If there's some new virus your anti-virus won't stop it because it doesn't recognize it. my 2 cents
I do run AdAware now and then though.

I did the same for 4 years ;d Just running online scanners every now and then.. But I don't mind having F-secure installed provided I can actually CLOSE IT-.-

So, here is the solution i use, it takes 5 minutes to make and it takes absolotuley no ressources. First, download this program : http://www.sysinternals.com/Files/PsKill.zip and put pskill.exe in your windows directory (usually c:/windows ).
Then on your desktop (for example), create a file called close_antivir.bat.
Right clik on it, then choose edit. In this file : write something like:
@echo off rem * -------------- kill_antivir.BAT ----------------- cls echo ----------------------------------------------------- pskill.exe your_first_antivir_process.exe pskill.exe your_second_antivir_process.exe pskill.exe your_third_antivir_process.exe
Where your_XXXX_antivir_process stands for the process you want to close.
Then just click on this .bat file and everything will be closed.
