Well in Quebec we have many names for it :
1) Fête des patriotes (patriots celebration) not sure about the translation lol 2) Fête de la Reine (Victoria Day) not sure either 3) Fête de Dollard (Dollar day) Or we just call it «La fête du Canada»
But to be honest no one celebrate it lol. It's all about «la St-jean baptiste» here, on june 24. (aka the quebec day).
Yeah I remember this being on TV when I was a kid and I didn't really understand the gravity of it.
Today I'm actually surprised/proud that it was on TV. How many american children are encouraged to question the media, and reminded that not everything they see is true?
I mean think about current events today, and how much misdirection and lies there are.. Really glad someone set the seed in me early to think for myself.
