Yeah, as previously discussed, the iPhone 6 specs are stone age specs back from 2012.
This is what happens when Apple patent trolls its biggest rival Samsung and then Samsung falls.
Apple is not innovating because they now dominate profits. I don't blame them, because why spend more money than you need to when you're already doing well anyway?
However some of you are saying that Samsung is now gone. Are you saying $6 billion+ USD in profits PER QUARTER is a bad thing?
Samsung is in the same position that Apple was in at the end of 2011. Besides, Samsung is the biggest tech company in the world, I'm sure its other subsidiaries will make up for any lost sales.
The smartphone market is highly saturated and the iPhone 6 will NOT be the most popular iPhone. That phase has passed already.

I see the most ideal tech advancement will be: Smart watch that can replace our needs for a mobile phone. It's just another device to charge and take away A foldable tablet that can fill our needs for a big screen, big battery life and high spec.
Right now smart watch requires a separate device to really make full use of it. Smartphone and tablet is a bit overlapping, seeing how popular Samsung note series are.

That along with the marketing is what makes them successful....At least thats what i thought until i saw this pos comercial.

Pretty cool but the _cheapest_ one is $549. Apple watch will be $350.
Massively more cool unless you're one of those weird people who really want an apple drawn on all your things. 350 is surely still too much for any sane person, you can get a nice watch for that! Smartphone watches might be viable long term, but right now they're too damn big and ugly and most of the time don't mean you can ditch the phone. At least the Kairos design gets around the ugly issue.

The Apple watch IS a nice watch. Have you seen the Edition? I guess that is a matter of opinion.
The Apple Watch is going to sell like hotcakes. It's release will be the single-largest money-making event in Apple history. Everyone is talking about it and wants one, except for a few elitists.
As you can see both Apple and Samsung are losing market shares to Huawei/Lenovo/Others.
yeah when billions of chinese are buying their brands for 99 cents. Samsung just knows that chinese market is a must but hawei is slowly catching on in china. They would never break western/east asian market. No one would buy crap

Shiny maybe, but I don't see the point. And I don't see why everyone would want one, except maybe for the fact that everyone's talking about how everyone is talking about it and how everyone wants one. So yes, it will probably sell in massive numbers, but hype, and the shiny veneer of Apple that people are smitten with these days, seems to be the main reason.
I also find the choice of the word elitist interestingly ironic.

From a general feature perspective, I'm perfectly happy with the phone that I have. I don't really see much in terms of necessary additions to a mobile device atm (other than random sensors). Of course I'd like to see advancements in battery life and heat management of the device. My biggest issue with my phone use during the summer is how hot it gets and its effect on performance and battery life. Smaller transistors will help with this for sure. Seems like most of the "innovation" coming out will involve cloud based services. We all know how secure icloud is
In response to the guy who said we didn't need phones and only smart watch / tablet, I would say that the phone eliminates the need for both of them unless you like talking into your watch. You can get a smart wear device that tracks your heart rate etc for much cheaper and has better battery life.
I wonder what the life of the Galaxy Gear would be if it supported LTE lol.

Who knows. Steve Jobs died and took Apple's innovation with him.
Here is what ZDNet has confirmed in terms of part suppliers for the iPhone 6: RAM/flash memory: SK Hynix and Samsung IPS Display: LG Display Camera: LG Innotek Optical image stabilizing module: LG Innotek CPU: Samsung and TSMC

Can't tell if serious, sarcasm, or Apple fanboy.
I haven't seen the enthusiasm for this watch at all on any forum I frequent and everyone I talk to is like "meh..."
Bands are nice but the Moto 360 and G Watch R both look nicer.
Battery life has not even been disclosed yet. And $350 for the smallest cheapest version is too expensive for a smart watch...
The apple watch looks absolutely hideous. Purely based on aesthetics the Moto 360 looks a million times better. Not that I'm in the market for a watch I have to charge all the time anyway.
The whole point of a watch is to bring some personality to the table. Kind of defeats the purpose if everyone is wearing the same stupid watch to fit into some social hierarchy dick waving contest.

Jobs was a salesman, not an innovator. He made everyone want a personal computer, an mp3 player, and a smartphone. Is Tim Cook going to make everyone want a smart watch in the same way? I highly doubt it.

Just to clarify: spending $360 on a watch, which you can only use after spending at least $200-$300 on a phone as well DOESN'T make you an elitist?

8MP is probably enough MP but it's not like the previous iPhones were better at taking pictures than their specs suggested. So I don't really get why you would think that. There have been some really good 8 MP cameras on other phones for some time now though.
This is pretty meh altogether.
The camera is still 8MP but is vastly upgraded and a lot of stuff has been added to it. It is much better than the Iphone 5.
I could never quite grasp that: Why on earth is a camera in a telephone so important? But ok, I'm out, I actually use my smartphone for communication and not posting selfies on twitter...
2005 called. They want their bad comic back. People have friends, kids, pets etc. they like to take quality pictures of. Teen girls posting selfies do so with their mediocre iphone cameras.

Mmm....
He probably means a purist. I don't want an iWatch because I don't consider it a "real" (i.e. mechanical) watch. Mechanical watches can be more expensive, but don't have to be. It's not about the price, but rather the definition of a watch.
