Its sold out with 70,000 seats sold in the epicentre of C&C fandom Berlin, Germany. The concert at the end features U2, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. The Beatles and Led Zeppelin are re-uniting with John Bonham's son on drums and Julian Lennon playing for his father John. Kane will be there with 1,000 Nod Brothers in Cosplay. Clearly, its a lot more fun to be a C&C fan instead of a Starcraft fan. Blizzard sucks my balls. Source ?

( and EA NHL 94) thank you for your lengthy, thoughtful , and, unfortunately sometimes condescending reply. i'm just tickled fucking pink that Metallica will be at Blizzcon and i let my enthusiasm spill over into too much subjectivity. No thank you bro. Once you made it open your cult belief I realized any of my further actions on this are just going to waste time. I am just going to reply this to you and be done with it. I just like spinal tapes. I like my arsis, my suffocation, my whateva you call it. Whatever you told me you liked, those just sounds like holiday blues and pop to me belongs to people listening them lying on rocking chairs enjoy their retirements and waiting for cancer. I really can't like them too coz I just drop sleep. But the differences here is clear as what I describbed. I still appreciate their efforts. I wouldn't go out and openly boast my favourite bands are thousand times better than anyone coz once it becomes a job for a living no one isn't going to not to give their A game. Musicians, as I know nowadays are living under pretty much the same or worse pressure level. They got to travel the world for like a year on the road, rocking every place like the madness last night didn't exist. End of the day, still gotta squeeze time in the tour to plan for and write new release materials. All this to pay their bills for all expenses on time. Never as many thought as easy. So I do respect them being capable. Which is exactly why I am not going to say some bands are 10X better than any other coz its all sweat and blood no matter how simple and sleep inducing the materials came out to be. Another reason I would try not to have further discussion with you is that I don give a damn about commercial success. You can write rubbish and still earn money with your label together. Easy. find most the successul band in this territory, copy their stuff, twist it as your wish to make it your own, assemble all and record, then let the studio and label handle the rest. And you got a decent album, simple as that! Many probably have experienced these moments while enjoying their music collections :" the parts just now sounded familiar!", regardles of whatever genre. Now I am not saying your favourite bands are doing this or that. I am just saying, commercial success of selling how many albums to me is useless stats now. I don't listen to a band because they are best selling. I go have audio demos before anything to ensure my purchases. Sure you can still believe best selling bands are having no way to no to be successful. But not for me. and that's exactly why I am saying farewell to you coz this is simply a conversation between people having different values and nothing's ever going to happen. Glad to know people are still liking starcraft like a cult though. Cya around hopefully.

Nowadays, I'd say it's a drawback rather than a plus to have them perform at anything. They've been dead for decades now, time to accept it and move on. Besides, it's Blizzcon, and considering the typical audience for such things, I'm sure that something a bit more "contemporary" would've been a better fit. What is the typical audience for Blizzcon? I think a Lana Del Rey concert goes with everything btw.

Sure, Metallica peaked as a band long ago but can't we appreciate the excellent career they have made over the years? Their 80s and early 90s material are still massively popular and they seem to be pretty damn popular at least in Northern Europe. If I was already going to Blizzcon, I would be fucking pumped to see Metallica of all bands to boot.
