I'm studying and working toward game design industry currently. For personal and health and practical reasons, I tend to stay home to do most of my work so far studying for my career (working in 3d applications).
Meanwhile though, I've been trying to find a job. I've had a few but I'd either get not enough hours or it was really inconvenient to my schedule. I thought online jobs could be a perfect alternative for me-- but I really don't have much experience in anything other than tutoring and being a lab assistant.
Prospects weren't that good for me when I searched for jobs on the web, so I was hoping an internet hub like TL might have a better idea of what kind of jobs I could look for that was work-at-home.

I'd agree with Mechanical Turk although you need to be a U.S citizen as they require your Social Security number. Use this subreddit to filter out the best jobs. Some of them require a certain number of HITs approved though. Can take some time before you are making much money but for someone who doesn't have a normal job and lives in the States, it's pretty much your best bet.
Could also trying browsing /r/beermoney and /r/WorkOnline for anything else.
